I ate half a honey dew melon today - is that a bad thing?
 
No - carry on with the melon.

What is a baked pot?

Have you tried the WW Chocolate Sachets - they are very good - get them from £1 shop, 6 in the pack.

Baked pot = baked potato.

Another good day. I've been at home all day and that often makes me want to pick. Although I think having a big breakfast helps. That and having plenty to keep me busy!

Breakfast

Quorn sausages 1 syn. Baked beans 142g HEB Mushrooms and egg

Lunch

Baked potato 2 syns + HEB. Blue chees HEA X 2

Yoghurt and melon

Dinner

Stir fry fish free prawns 1 syn with cabbage, onion and broccoli and red Thai curry past 1 syn

Green and Blacks chocolate and quark with cherries - not quite black forest... 2 Syns I think

SnaX - banana, nectarine and lots more melon..

Total 6 syns

Already cooked tomorrows breakfast omelette and with left over stir fry for dinner that's me sorted!

I'm feeling thinner - I hope that counts!

I've got some Aldi equivalent in my cupboard but will deffo pick some up next time I'm in pound land ta v much
 
Sorry about "Baked Pot" :d'oh: - it was the HEX B that threw me as I don't have to count them on Green Days - thought it was something from the Supermarket.

Lol :) was mortified to find out that it is 227g raw weight = HEB. That is one small potato. So I have to syn the extra.

I wish I could do green but I just could not lose weight on it. So I'm hoping red will kickstart it as I suspect it was the lovely, lovely carbs on green which didn't help.

I just wish chickpeas, kidney beans and other pulses were free on red in the same way meat is then I wouldn't miss my carbs so much and spend so much money on quorn !

This is where I suspect I went wrong to begin with - portions too big so cut them down now but could not live without my carbs and I love chickpeas and lentils etc. Quorn does not agree with me but I do use Savoury TVP from Holland and Barrett but could not do Red days, think I would be hungry all the time.
 
Hello,

Reading about some of your meals is making me hungry! Any weight loss is still weight loss and you might well lose more next week. I don't think you're consuming very many calories each day. Do you do a lot of exercise? I guess it could be muscle weight?

And now my body won't give it up easily!

Hmmm that's interesting- they say your body can reach a 'Set Point' weight, a weight which it works well with and from which it is harder to deviate- maybe that's what's going on? Also do you make sure to weigh at the same time of day each time? You could maybe incorporate a bit of walking or jogging and see if that helps at all? xx

So by those standards I am overweight although I am not convinced my body thinks so! I have managed 59kg by calorie counting but became a littles obsessive and I little unhealthy and I was eating 1200. - 1300 and still not losing.

I have loads of size 12 trousers I want to get back into!

And I know you are right about the jogging - I was just hoping SW could manage without......

I have just got a new job o hopefully my life will simplify in the very near future..

Had a really busy day so missed lunch. Tomorrow I will need wine so had no syns today.

Maybe your body thinks you're fine at your weight! When I had a BMI of 25/26 and was in the 11s my body seemed to not want to shift weight very much too! But that's great you're feeling thinner. Did you follow a recipe for the sausage casserole? xx
 
Nooo I don do recipes. I make it up..


But here's how I did it.

Fry lite half chopped onion.

Add a sliced courgette

Add chopped and defrosted LC rosemary & red onion sausages (I used 3 because I'd had no dinner and was starving)

Fry a little bit.

Add 1/2 carton passata ( would have used chopped tomatoes but didn't have any)

Add flavourings (jerk black pepper from Costco)

Turn down and simmer for 5 minutes.

I then added some warm boiled potatoes and mixed in.

Serve

Sooooo enjoyed my green day yesterday. It seemed like a cheat day eating all those carbs.

WI - good news - finally lost weight!

WHOOP WHOOP !

1kg / 2lb

At last I'm back to below 70kg at 69kg.

Going to try and cut the cost a little as I have bought some soya chunks from holland and Barrett (buy 1 get 1 half price)

And instead of quorn mince going o get asda dried mince.

All this quorn is a little expensive!
