Third Time Lucky...!

Well it's all gone a bit rubbish on the dieting front!

Managed to get out of the zone and can't get back in! Although, everything is amazing with my bf and so I think the social life has just got in the way!

Off for a couple of nights with him tomorrow and then a week holiday with Mum.

Should be a pretty active holiday so I'll see if I can get bck to it then! Then back to uni which is going to be mega hard again with all the drinking! Ahhh!

Ohhhh I am finding this such a struggle! Since being at uni I have put on about half a stone. I am now 16'2. I am so angry with myself as the lowest I got to on this journey was 14'10 so I really have been going backwards rather than forwards.

No more excuses. I'm going to use Minimins and MFP religiously. I was trying to get more into just a non counting way of eating but clearly I'm not ready for that yet.

So, I won't list my diary on here religiously, that'll be for MFP but I will mention what I eat and how I'm getting on.

I'm lucky enough to have another 2 weeks ahead of me of hardly any lectures, then a week in school followed by another two weeks off, so this is an ideal time to get some exercise in. I'll walk. And I'll check out some Zumba classes. Money is a problem though so walking is my best option.

I'm going to Disneyland Paris at Easter and this is my main motivation now. I went to Alton Towers once and the bar wouldn't go over my chest so I am NOT letting that happen again!

For those who used to read my diary... An update...

Now in Year Three at uni, got a new boyfriend who is a new teacher, I am incredibly happy in all other areas other than my weight! He seems to completely love me as I am, can't see anything wrong with me, which is a great thing for me, as it means I am solely losing this weight for ME.

Sorry I have been AWOL for so long. But I'm back now!

Good luck chick. You can do it when you stick to it. You've lost the weight before so you know you can do it again

Welcome back :) don't be hard on yourself. Losing weight is always hard but it's even harder when you're at uni and teaching!

It's SO hard at uni! My housemate (bigger than me) has had a takeaway every day since Thursday. It has actually spurred me on as I have seen it and found it absolutely disgusting! I mean, six takeaways?!? Not even small ones - mostly large dominoes pizza or Chinese. It sounds mean, but seeing her makes me more motivated as I don't want to be like that!

Today has been fine. Am surprised! I have some mushrooms to use up so will probably have either mushrooms on toast or on a baked potato.

I have lots to use up in my cupboards so may have some random meals coming up!

Didn't have breakfast this morning as I woke up late (student life!).

Lunch was a sandwich with ham and Philly and salad and cucumber and a packet of wotsits.

Dinner was toast with mushrooms, onion and spinach and a few olives. And a chocolate mousse.

This is only 850 cals! I know I need to have at least 1200 really, but that's not going to happen today. I'll possibly have something else later but not too worried for now as I have a funny routine at the mo being a student.

Did well yesterday - phew!

Today is OK so far. Breakfast was some raspberry & yoghurt crisp cereal with soya milk - love soya milk and its only 22 cals for my cereal milk!

Lunch was a jacket potato- the only ones they had at uni were prefilled for some reason - was lovely though. Was filled with bacon and cheese so not amazing but there wasn't too much filling. Also had half a small banana.

Not sure what to have for dinner. Have about 750 cals left. I have some chicken with mushrooms, spinach, pepper and onions that I could have with pasta.

Sounds like you're doing really. Did you go up higher than 850 yesterday? Need to try make sure that you're not going below 1200 really. Don't want to see you get run down before placement!

Sounds good :)

Yeah had some malteasers! I wasn't too worried as I know it won't happen often, and being at uni, you never quite know what'll happen the next day!

As an example of this, I ended up going out last night and drank way too much! And ate. Yuck. Feeling it today.

Today will be a low day I expect purely because I'm still in bed and the stomach feels a bit queasy!

Think those nights out are probably going to be your biggest challenge from what I know of you. Not meant in a bad way obviously! So hard to stick to it on a night out though!

Well it's been a busy weekend. My boyfriend came to stay. Food wasn't horrendous but wasn't amazing.

I made lasagne for Friday night. Saturday we had pop tarts and croissants for breakfast! Packed lunch and walked around the zoo for a few hours which was pretty good exercise.

Dinner out on sat night, pop tart for breakfast Sunday. Beans on toast lunch on Sunday and lasagne for tea.

Woke up this morning with horrible cystitis. Always getting it. :(

Have been drinking loads to try to help clear it. Had a low calorie soup with bread for lunch to keep cals low as I'm drinking cranberry juice which is meant to help but is so high in cals!

Friend bought me a twirl to cheer me up! So may have that.

Got lasagne for tea - managed to freeze loads the other night!

Have you been to the doctors about the cystitis?

Freezing meals is the best way to go really, specially once you're back on placement. Means you've got something quick and easy that's cheaper and healthier than take away at the end of a long day.

I didn't go as the doctor I'm with at uni is a bit weird! It seems to have cleared up now luckily.

Today I've been good - finally!

Mushrooms and cottage cheese for breakfast. Sandwich and crisps for lunch. Homemade pizza and lemon mousse for dinner. Walked for 40 mins. 1117 cals eaten. 225 cals burnt.

There is the possibility of me going to teach in America next year with uni at a cost of over £2000!! Still deciding but have realised that I really do overspend and a lot of that is on food and drink. So, from now on I really am making a big effort to save!

Good start again with cottage cheese, mushrooms and onion.

Lunch will be sandwich and crisps (need to use up the bread which I won't buy more of after).

Not sure about dinner as I am going home. I think the best thing to do is to take some soup home with me to make sure I have that as an option.

Ill be there for breakfast and lunch too. Breakfast should be ok as we should have healthy cereal or yoghurts. Lunch ill take another can of soup!

Dinner will be at my boyfriends and his mum is cooking so ill have to have whatever is going but if I'm sensible in the day then that should be fine!

Breakfast on Saturday will be a pop tart! Ill make sure I only have one! Not sure about lunch - probably a sandwich. Somethin healthy for tea and my friends and a few drinks.

Think I hopefully have a good plan for the weekend!

Good luck :)
