Total Solution This has to be it!

Cate you will be in those 16s really soon. I bet your clothes and people will start to notice how you are slimming down in the next couple of weeks.

you are doing so well

So a good day today. It's now 8.15pm and I've had a 100% day. Have no inclination to cheat. And if I get an attack I still have bouillon and Coke Zero in hand. Some days are so easy, like today, while others feel like hell, like the two days I've just had. Hoping tomorrow's just as good.

I hope today is another easy day for you x

Glad yesterday was an easier one Cate. Just keep picturing how many bags of sugar you have lost so far in weight. That always puts the loss into perspective for me when its not showing in clothes size. I seem to be stuck in the size I'm wearing for ages now but i have a lot of bags of sugar standing in my virtual corner so it is coming off :D x

Hope you're having another good day x

Hope today is going well Cate xx

Had two packs and an omelette yesterday. Have had a teaspoon of vanilla in coffee, a slice of ham and a slice of cheese, a banana shake and a toffee and raisin bar so far today. Not sure why but having a major wobble today. TBH, not sure I can keep doing this. I am finding it really hard not to eat, hence all my cheats, no matter how minor, and am wondering about jumping over to the JUDDD diet. You lose around 2.5lbs a week so although losses would be slower it would mean I could eat on alternate days. I wonder if it's anything to do with watching The Food Channel this morning which has got me thinking about all the lovely meals I could be eating if I was allowed to eat? I wonder if this feeling is just a blip or something more serious? Seriously fed up tonight and I really want a salad.

So, it's been an hour since my last post and in that time I've driven to Lidl's, bought my salad stuff, made it and eaten it. Combination of kos lettuce and leaves from one of those living salads, half a tomato, few rashers of streaky bacon, fried until crispy, few broken up bits of dolcelatte, 1/4 avocado, couple of anchovies dressed with a bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Lovely. I don't feel guilty; I just really needed that tonight. And it wasn't huge either. Feeling fine now but am thinking I will have to start doing a combination of TS and WS but on my WS days I will only have two packs, stay low carb and won't calorie count as such but just won't go mad. This should keep me under 1000 cals. I take a multi-vit anyway daily so not worried about missing out on my RDAs as am already exceeding these. :eat: I will aim to stay TS as often as possible. Won't be going JUDDD just yet.

As long as u stick with something it doesn't matter what mode if transport u used to get there or if u changed vehicles en route.

Sometimes VLCD is a breeze and other days it's torture. Not fair is it?!

Stay strong honey :) x

Hi Cate, you need to do whats right for you and it's not like you have gone overboard. Sounds like you have a plan and will continue to lose weight x

Hi Cate. Its a new bright and sunny day! I wouldn't worry about yesterday we all have our 'wobble' moments (however I literally wobble) ! You did great with your food choice, I succumb to whatever is in the freezer that is quick to make...and usually the most fattening!

We need the support of everyone on here to give us the kick we occasionally need! WS will be good as you can make good choices food wise. You can still have a good weekly loss as well.

Hope you have a good day xx

So, James has been away all weekend pretty much. Dropped him off yesterday at 8.30am for him to go a play in a football festival. He was taken straight home from there to a friend's house for a sleepover. I was due to go and pick him up around 2pm. The mum has just FB messaged me and said to come over earlier as they are having a BBQ lunch. Think I will go and stick to meat and salad. Definitely no carbs and no alcohol. Had so many housework jobs to do this weekend while James was out of the way but haven't done any of them apart from the ironing. Will have to get on with those when we get home!! Hope everyone's having a great day.

Barbecue... Yum! Feeling jealous here ;)

Enjoy your day Cate. No problem tweaking the diet as long as you control your food intake. If it helps you to stay on track all well & good x

Back from BBQ. Quite short because James' friend had to leave to go to a party. Had a burger and two sausages, bit of salad, two tomatoes and a bit of full-fat mayo, black coffee and water. No bread, no alcohol. Pleased with that.

Meant to say earlier, I'm not a hardened daily weigher but occasionally I do jump on the scales to see where I'm at with things, especially after I've eaten the day before. I weighed this morning and was 218lbs, 2lbs down from last official weigh-in; next one is tomorrow. This means I have achieved (just exceeded, in fact, by 0.5lb) my next mini goal of having shifted 1/4 of the weight I need to lose. Would love to see another 1lb loss on the scales in the morning but not holding out much hope. Think I'm on for another 2lb loss this week. :sigh: Seems to be something of a pattern for me. Still, apart from week one, which doesn't really count, I am averaging out at 3lbs loss per week. Only need another 1/2lb per week to hit the Exante average. I HAVE TO START EXERCISING. I'm sure if I did it would help shift that extra 1/2lb a week. Thing is, I hate it and I'm just so bloody lazy. Aaaaarrrrggghhh.

A loss is a loss well done. I hate exercising too very boring maybe just adding a few extra here and there into the day. Small steps but big rewards. Good luck x
