This Little Piggy Goes to Atkins

The day didn't go too badly at all, migraine bogged off after breakfast. Had a lovely walk with DH and dog, before DH went to work.

Started writing a book this afternoon, it's one of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/190...ile?redirect=true&ref_=oh_details_o03_s00_i00

So it's pre printed with things to write about your past, your wishes for the future, things you've learned about life etc. I will enjoy writing it.

Since I've been reading another Atkins thread re fitness dvd's and I've ordered the 30 day shred. I've got the time, and I turned the conservatory/lean to into a little yoga studio last week, so I have space. DH keeps telling me he wants to get fitter so this is perfect. No problem getting cold out there, from what I've read we'll be sweating in moments. We don't even have to leave the house! All the reviews on Amazon are great, and I'm determined to put this time off to good use.

Oh sweetie so glad the head is better now!

And brava on the Italian :) My Italian class has just been cancelled - hopefully they'll have enough people for the next semester!

That's good to hear, D. Actually I have canceled my Amazon order as it's on YouTube. I'm off to take my measurements, and horror of all horrors, weigh myself in a mo before giving the work out a bash. I've just watched level 1 through so I've got an idea what I'm doing. Would be great to have you along on the ride and 'check in' with you.

Quite right too.

I've weighed myself for the first time in months, 11st 12lbs. Glad I'm back on the straight and narrow now!

I've just done the first shred workout on a whim. Feeling a little jelly like in the legs, but it was doable. Hard work, but manageable because it's only 25 mins. Something tells me it will be soooo much harder in the morning!

Good morning day 2! That's day 2 of the shred, and day 1 lean & green induction.
We've (ie. Me) decided no more desserts for a while. It's all too easy to get frozen berries and cream out, and snaffle them without a thought and it must stop. When I put it all into mfp yesterday it wasn't a pretty sight.

I've found my focus and it's up the ladder to loft land we go, to find the weights...

I'm the same with desserts - I only ever make single portions as its way too easy to go overboard but for the most part I find I very very rarely 'need' or even want them now. Sweetened tea does me for a sweet craving and desserts just feel like unnecessary additions - nice to have for totm cravings or emergencies but totally inessential.

V impressed with everyone doing the shred!

Good afternoon Smiley. xx

Wow am impressed with the Shred! I'm just sticking to my walking and hula hooping (badly!) still.

Will dust of the exercise dvds once I get more me time. At the mo I seem to spend my "free" time cleaning and ironing :D

Hi ML, that's the point I need to get back to; where I'm in k, I'm not hungry but easy out of need rather than want, and where I don't have sweet cravings. I'll get there.

Yes, the shred, in feeling goooood!

Giggles, cleaning and ironing is exercise!
The shred thing is in you tube which is handy, as I've only got a NetBook at the moment, but can still play it out in my 'fitness studio' (it's a lean- to!).I've still got my weighted hula hoop, it's behind the shed. Definitely an outdoor activity.

One click pharmacy went out of business with £40 of my money, and clearly no coconut oil ever arrived. Luckily Paypal have emailed to say the dispute I raised has been found in my favour, and I'll be refunded. Hurrah for Paypal!

Ha, they were actually called exotic in Tesco! They were so pretty, pink oyster mushrooms, yellow ones and the little tiny ones with long stalks. Saved half for tomorrow.

There's a place called auravita or something similar. It's a bit more expensive, but I'm led to believe it actually arrives much quicker than one click.
