This time I will do it!!...

I have been okay. Dreading the weekend as we have guests. Hubbie wants to cook a couple of things, which is great, but nothing is SW friendly! Been shopping to Tesco and the trolley is ladened with cake, croissants, desserts, crisps, ice cream! It's gonna be tough to resist! I don't want to be anti social, but I also dont want to jeopardise my loss this week

You could have small portions of the treats and syn then as you normally would. At least then you look sociable but your also sticking to plan? X
 
I wish I hadn't got on my scales this morning - 3.5lbs ON! WTF?!? I must be converting fat to muscle as I haven't even deviated off plan!! In fact this week I have been doing original days and have been zero carbing to improve the losses!!! I hate the head games which revolve around the scales!
 
Tuesday is WI. what with the Bank Holiday and guests I am winding myself up that this will be a proper gain, not a temporary blip. So confused!

It could just be your muscles retaining water to help them recover after the exercise.
Don't panic. It's not likely you'll put on 3.5 on on Tuesday when you've stuck religiously to plan xx

Hi hun it'll be your muscles retaining water as you don't put weight on as you gain muscle it's a myth. Try and drink plenty of water, limit salt intake and you'll be fine xx
 
Thanks Kel. I am currently drinking 2l of water/squash religiously. Shall I up this again? I will cut out the salt as well. Just really confused this week. Hopefully it will all sort itself out by Tuesday? Thanks again xxx

Aww if ya drinking that much hun you'll be fine defo limit salt though cos it causes muscles to hang onto the water you'll defo settle before Tuesday
