This time I will do it!!...

OMG hun. I cannot begin to imagine how awful that must've been! No wonder you don't like anti-depressants.

Friends have been on the same tablets and have committed suicide (Bridgend suicides) and in a lot of the cases I deal with in work, the people are on some form of anti-depressant. It may not be to blame but sounds like too much of a coincidence to me.

I honestly don't think I'm depressed, I'm usually quite chirpy. I have off days yes but so does everyone.
Also wondering whether it could be linked to low iron stores - when I had Freya I haemorrhaged and was advised to have a blood transfusion. Stupidly I didn't as I wanted to get home for my soon. Even though she's now 7 months, I haven't had my iron levels checked since then. We'll see in a few days I guess. My Dr just seems to hand over anti-depressants to everyone as a default cure. X

Scary isn't it i think all doctors do to be fair and its cheaper than sending someone for therapy to find out why there depressed

You know yourself how you feel, the last couple of months have been stressful for you maybe its just catching up with you.

It may be the iron best waiting to see what docs tests. Xx

Yeah think I'll wait. Thanks hun.

And well done on your week! I'll try to hang on your coattails next week and see if I can manage a 100% week :)

Have you heard about house yet? X

You'll get there Hun.

I haven't heard yet but mon night someone law put a bid in that put me in second place it's so frustrating. I feel sorry for people struggling with bedroom tax but I'm hoping it'll give us a better chance of at least a swap.

Can I ask is it when your eldest id 10 when the council deem sharing bedrooms not appropriate?

I never get any real answers from the council workers here. They have zero sympathy.

I completely empathise with you. It's my job and what I see frustrates the hell out of me!

Under the new Bedroom Tax the Gov say that if you have a boy and a girl they can now share a bedroom until the oldest child is 10years old. Beware though as even when your eldest reaches 10, they may not have the housing stock to move you straight away. As long as they have put you on some sort of 'transfer' list and have recognised that you need alternative accommodation then they have fulfilled their obligations. In other words, even when your eldest is 10, it could take a while before rehousing.

Are you on Homeswappers? Probably the quickest way these days is to swap x

Ahh I see the council always have a way of getting around these things. We are on home swapper I think people are put off because its a massionette they look horrid from the outside ( looks like typical council block) but they are quiet nice inside.

Hopefully well get some luck my oldest is 9 this year, he's fed up of sharing.

I really wouldn't like your job, sounds very stressful. Xx

Yeah their normally nice and deceptively spacious inside. People can't afford to be overly picky with the Bedroom Tax and things so hopefully you' get some luck with people needing to downsize.

I can imagine how awful it must be sharing. Are they close in age? What annoys me is that the ruling even applies in circumstances where a couple have a child of say 8/9 and a baby. That must be a nightmare - the age gap is so huge and the baby will wake the other child crying etc...

Generally I enjoy what I do just not for the company/people I work with. What frustrates m most is that the new reforms are so rigid. There is no room to allow for special circumstances and I often see really deserving, desperate families and I can do nothing to help because of the law/lack of housing stock etc...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and if there's anything I can do just shout x

Well done sticking to plan, 1lb is a fab loss

Good luck for your 100% week. You can do it. I've tried to to stress about it this week and I'm doing really well sometimes it pays to relax a little x

Thanks hun. Your doing great and I'm taking some inspiration from you to stick to it 100% for a week. Am hoping that if I have a good loss next week it'll spur me on fir the week after etc... X

Dr just rung, my iron levels were 4! Have to be put on a high dose of iron.

Just goes to show that it was the iron playing up and I didn't need anti-depressants! X

Two things happened today which has cemented my resolve to stick to SW. Firstly someone commented that I had lost weight and my face looks a lot slimmer (I need to learn to accept the compliments cos I was just blasé about it). Secondly, I saw a work group photo and saw just how fat I am. I do still have about 2st to lose and I can't become complacent.
I will get there!

OH got diagnosed with Coeliac Disease as well today. Still trying to find things he can eat!

Hiya Hun I'm so pleased you don't need the anti depressants, your iron tabs will help and hopefully you won't feel so tired and run down. Fancy the doc been hasty its a waste of your money payin for prescription.

I've had the same thing with the work photos. I had to stand from a side view and I looked massive I'm using it to spur me on. We have them yearly so I'm vowing to be slimmer by the next one.

Luckily I'm in Wales so don't pay for prescriptions but it's still a waste. I've given them back to the pharmacy.

Our work photos are the same - yearly and side on. Urgh! I will be at target for the next one! Lol x
