Sorry to hear that Leigh :( what a rotton time to do it.

I'm fasting today I'm out at court all day so should be easy it's just when I get home :/

That will be my last fast until the new year eeek!
 
I stood still again so I am not fasting as from now. Will try not to pig out and start again in the New Year. Hopefully the fast will kick start some weight loss and I will probably go back to Slimming World after a couple of weeks. Just found out yesterday I am being made redundant, which is difficult to sort out in Spain, my Spanish is rubbish! Hence I'm sat here at 5.30am as I can't sleep. Only been working a year so probably not entitled to much if anything :-(

Really sorry to hear this Leigh. Just before Christmas too!!! Don't blame you for going back to slimming world - whatever works! If you do stop 5:2'ing, I hope you still pop on here once in a while and let us know how you're doing. xx
 
Reeeeally want to use the New Year as motivation to take my health much more seriously. I'd like to find a good heart rate monitor and fitness app combo to sloooowly start running again.
 
I fasted until tea time thu then had dominoes!! A full pizza! Felt horrid after and it wasn't that nice don't know why I did it!! Feel as bad as I usually do in jam already cos of all the eating and drinking I've done lately! Considering a fast Xmas eve but not sure I have the willpower ha just counted and it's 22 weeks until I go to vegas-a lb a week would be more that enough but if I go mad over Christmas then I'll have to lose the extra before I start to lose-difficult isn't it?!

New Year's resolution anyone?

I know most people give up before the end of Jan, but I'm still up for trying! I think I currently weigh 207ish, but will check soon.

1) to get down to 165lbs (BMI of 21.2)
2) to exercise for a minimum of 30mins, 3 times per week
3) to cut out sugary foods including refined carbs during the week

Intermediate goals:

-by the end of January, I want to weigh less than 200lbs
-by the end of February, I want to weigh 194 or less
-by the end of March, 188 or less
-by the end of April, 182 or less
-by the end of May, 176 or less
-by the end of June, 171 or less
-by the end of July, 165 or less

Sound doable?

Hey ladies hope you have all had a lovely Christmas!

I'm sick of eating!!!

My goal is to lose 1/2 a stone a month before Vegas-don't actually have a choice or my dress won't fit! Ha

We fly 25th may! Can't wait. Tried my dress again on Monday and it was a bit better but still miles away! I watched the DVD from last time we went. The other night and I looked horrible on it so I'm more determined to look good this time!

Saying that I should be at body combat now and I'm still on bed!! X
 
Happy new year everyone!! Well after a very over indulgent festive period (lasting a month!!) I'm ready to get back on if. Fasting tomorrow and thu and then I'm doing 2 a week no excuses! About to weigh and measure now and prob get depressed that I've put it all back on :(

Back to work tomorrow-time has flown!!

Caz I hope it is plenty of time but I think its gonna fly. So annoying that if id stuck to it properly last year I'd be thin now instead of still overweight :(

I have had an amazing Christmas though and had a lovely 3 course meal with drinks last night and had the last family gathering today but its time to behave now!

So far so good for 2014! Went on a 5-mile walk yesterday and ate really healthily. Have also added a resolution to not have any crisps or alcohol for the month of January. We'll see how that goes! I'm still not sure about fasting for me... Logging all my exercise and food on my phone and staying within limits might be the way forward. If so, it'd feel weird to continue posting on here in the 5:2 section! According to the my fitness pal app, I can have 1400 calories per day and still lose weight, even more if I exercise!
 
Well I've just eaten for the first time today. Had quorn stir fry with chow mein sauce. I had them zero noodles with it and they were ok actually!! Having some flavoured fizzy water and a 10 cal jelly later and an early night!

Realised its Thursday today got mixed up with my days ha

Going for a walk in a bit :)
 
Feeling better already :) love that its Friday night and I don't have to count calories and can have a treat :) 20 weeks until Vegas on Sunday aaaagh
 
Another 2lbs down! That's 5lbs off so far in 2014 :)

The real test will be this week as I'm fully back at work and also working one evening per week. I'm making a big pot of low calorie bean soup to take to work all week.
 
Just weighed and I've lost 5lb since new year! I know its morning so not getting my hopes up but that is after a weekend of eating what I like and I'm fasting tomorrow so feeling positive!
