Sorry you are feeling poorly DQ... :( hope you feel heaps better v v very soon!

OOOh I love my dishwasher too!!! I was so thrilled when we got it... the hours it has saved me and the backache (sinks are never the right height!)... and so so so sooooooo easy! My dishwasher and my washing machine... more vital than my fridge or cooker! lol

Hi, Im soooooo proud of myself, I didnt touch a drop of alcohol......though I did eat some chicken and gammon on boxing day, im out of ketosis and im working hard to get back.

Hello all

Just thought I'd pop in & see how my fellow threadstoppers are doing. Finally got a few minutes to myself today. We've had the mad dash into town to change my daughter's Playstation Game, she's now happy & I got a new set of crockery, half-price in Whittards, so I'm happy too. Plus town wasn't too manic, busy, but not as bad as I thought it'd be, so quite pleased about that.

Hope you're feeling a bit better now CD. I did quite well on the alcohol, I'm actually on medication and not supposed to be drinking at all, but I did have a bit of bubbly on Christmas Day, which didn't have a negative effect on me, so I had a bit more on Boxing Day too:) But that's probably it for me.

Well done Sonkie, sounds like you did really well to avoid all the naughty temptations, you'll soon be back in Ketosis & back on track. Anyone who stuck to their plans this Christmas deserves a medal, it's such a difficult time, with so much temptation around. I've eaten more than I should have, although certainly a lot less than in years gone by. Will be nice this year not to have put on a stone over the festive period!

Take care all
xx

5 hours have passed - have I stopped the thread????? OMG!!!! Surely not, c'mon guys - where are you, you, you, you (that's the echo, in case you're wondering:D ).

Well I'm very excited as I've just had an email from someone enquiring about starting the CD with me. It's my first email via the Cambridge Diet website, so I'm thrilled that someone out there has seen my page & contacted me. I will have clients after all - hurrah. So far, I've got a few friends who've come to me & the lovely CavyCrazy, who I met on this forum, buts it's very exciting to have a complete stranger approaching me (in a CD kinda way of course!).

Cor. That's exciting MD :)

As for the thread. Unfortunately we have lost mindless to his own thread, and now sonkie is lost in the arcade :(

I've made myself a small fairy cake though :) Called youngest son down....I put one candle in it...lit it and then sang Happy Birthday to myself :D

Son gave me a worried look and asked if madness was hereditary:confused: :D

So I had the fairy cake all to myself :)

hey MadamDotty,

we're still here, reckon that we just are waiting for the momentum to disappear then whoosh, back into action - bit like those spinning plates on the bamboo canes you see (well used to - and doesn't that show my age) in variety shows or the Generation GAme.

Besides, everyone is stretched with the number of subscribed threads they have - I have been told of some with over 30 threads - and everyone (me included) loves to try and have a last word - I mean that blasted 'word thread' - every time you add a word, some other clever git adds another one and you just have to go back and re-post.

Addiction to this place is SOOOOOOO easy

I've been up till 1.00am every bloomin day so far - so I don't miss anything - no wonder people have no time to eat (I know - one purpose of the site)

So I am sure others will add.

By the way - great news about that CD client via the website, as the word spreads, more and more will flock to your door.

Take care

Mindless

I've just checked and I have 460 subscribed threads. Only cleared them out not so long ago too!

Of course, I have managed to threadstop many of them

Just keep trying...they run out of letters on their keyboard in the end :D

HI IM BACK....BUT IM MIFFED........I WAS PLAYING WORD EIGHT....GOT TO NEARLY 12,000 AND GAVE UP BUT IT WOULDNT RECORD MY SCORE SO ALL THAT TIME WASTED AND NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT ........BOO HOO.......WAAAHHHH. .....SOB SOB

460!!! eeeeeekkkk... lol.. I thought I was bad with just under 40! Blimey!

Fantastic news Madam Dotty :D I think it's brilliant when you get a CDC who has 'been there, done that, lost the weight and keeping it at bay',, I know that for me it has made a massive difference. Ailsa is inspirational for me.. and had she been a lard ar$e like me then I wouldn't have had any faith in the diet at all... so.. well done on so many counts! :D

Sonkie... ergh! How frustrating! Could've been worse though.. might have made it to 20,000! ;)

Love the cake thing Karion :) hope you enjoyed every morsel!
