Threadstoppers United. For the new, nearly new...or even the old members :)

Hello all you lovely threadstoppers - hope everyone's well.

Had a real couple of down days recently but glad to say feeling a bit better and more positive today and back on the forum again, which I'd been neglecting a bit.

Funny old day here cold & windy, with alternating bright sunshine, black clouds and hailstones. I managed to time a dog walk quite well though although we did get blown about a bit.

Sorry to hear of your marital problems Redpam, it's not easy when it goes wrong, sometimes you do have to admit defeat, you can only do so much and if your hubby's not willing well that doesn't help at all. Stay strong and you'll come through this.

All the best everyone

Thanks for your kind words MD. Glad you are feeling brighter now.

The amazing thing is: he stomped off to see a solicitor on Friday morning and she told him he could expect to get more from me than my solicitor told me, but he has decided that he does not want the marriage to end. And he has been really trying to behave better:eek:

My son wanted to drive to his weekend job 25 miles away (he is learning to drive) and DH said he was not keen on the idea of me sitting with him but then said he was to drive carefully as DS would have the most precious thing in DH's life in the car so he was to be very careful! EEk!!!!

Just have to see how long it lasts

Blooming heck, you nearly did it then Redpam, you nearly stopped the thread.
I havent been on much today as my DS1 has been off school with a migraine.....It started with visual disturbances after he had his breakfast so got him to take a painkiller.....then 10 minutes later the headache came.
Well he has been sick numerous times today so not felt the benefit of his pills, so rang gp and he sorted a prescription for antisickness tablets.
He has been asleep now for 3 hours, so hopefully he will feel a little better when he wakes up.

I have them too though not had one for a while now (touch wood) and have to dose myself up and go to bed and try to sleep it off.

Well he perked up a bit last night, he had a bit more toast before going to bed and kept it down.. He is still in bed at the minute so think he may stay off school today as you feel so weak after a migraine.

Lets see if this stops the thread.

My DH is trying so hard at the mo. He even apologised the other evening and that has never happened before. He has even booked for us to go to France for the weekend after Easter eek!

Not a chance while sonkie is around......dont know whats going to happen when im in bath....lol.

DS1 is fine still feeling a little drained but headache gone, eyes back to normal, he woke up at lunch time.

Wow your hubby apologised......blimey hope you milked it......lol.

If you have a weak bladder be careful....!

Hubby decided to check for ketosis this afternoon, he came down and said what does white mean......! :rotflmao: So I said there aint no such thing....lol. Apparently the tip went white, so I said you did pee on the right side didnt you ...?
Yes he had and it had turned white.....but I said thats not right.....lol. He looked on the container and between the beige and pinks there is a gap to distinguish between normal and ketosis.....well he thinks the white part of the label means he is in ketosis. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Anyway I tried to explain it was the label and not the colour chart to test by, he just wont have it......he went off to work and he is adamant that he is in ketosis......lol. I think I may have finally got through though....!

Anyway guys I know morning is best time to test but why would the pad turn white instead of staying beige.....?

Not heard of that before Sonkie? He did pee on it and not just run it under the tap or something like that? Very strange, somebody may know the answer, but I can't help there I'm afraid.

Glad there seems to be an improvement with your DH Redpam, hopefully it will continue.
