Welcome back :) how was the hols??

Good day today :) had some stressful shizzle to deal with and didn't even think of food once!!!
In fact my only naughty longing today was at a cashpoint outside a chippy. They smell so damn good it's hardly fair lol I'm totally exhausted now. So gonna read a bit of me booook and go sleep!!!!
Got a massively busy three days ahead so I'll try an pop in with morning coffee and before bed :)

Bleurgh super rough today again. Gonna go see the docs about this TOTM malarkey. There's something not right here lol . And hopefully they can't blame it on the chubb this time!! Blooming anti chubbist GP. She looks anorexic too lol I've never seen anyone quite so thin!!

Still debating whether to wine or not to wine on sat. I really wanna get into the 12's by end of month which is 4lbs to lose and a gargantuan piss up will soooooo scupper that!!! Plus I can't deal with the hangover lol I'm just to old!!!!

Lego, the time has come for me to give you in insight into the much anticipated top tips on 'how to drink and not blow your diet' by happyhealthy, a student with much experience on this matter.

*Warning* Some of these tips might not be the most conventional, but for one night, I think the allowance can be made!

  • If you're going out at say 7pm, have your dinner at around 4pm. That way you won't of eaten for a while so you'll get tipsyier on fewer drinks, thus saving calories
  • If you can, switch to single vodka and a diet mixer such as diet lemonade. Only 50 calories per drink. Vodka isn't for everyone, but you will actually be surprised at how you can adapt to the taste. And for only 50 calories you can't really complain!
  • If you're drinking wine, order a glass of diet lemonade too. Then you can mix it into your wine, so you can get 2 or 3 glasses out of 1 glass of wine. All be it, it won't be as strong as if it was a proper glass of wine, but you'll still be getting the full benefits of your wine, only over 2 glasses instead of one.
 
Lol I like vodka.....and wine......and tequila.....and pretty much anything that's not beer :) think I'm more worried that I'll give in to the munchies while under the influence hahahaha I was thinking of taking a bottle of WW Rose (which is a bit lower and actually really nice!!) and a bottle of diet lemonade :) I just need to exercise off all the wine before I go!!! Then seriously glug the water Sunday!!

Haha, I figured out tricks like that too. Forget the cocktails, stick to spirits and diet mixers. And if there's no diet mixers, you've got no choice but to have shots :p haha

Haha! A girl after my own heart! Plus I'm finding that the less I weigh, the smaller amount of alcohol it takes to get me tipsy! I'm a cheap night out these days :D

I like vodka, lime and soda 75ish cals I think... Gets me proper bo**oxed!!! x
 
Really busy day yesterday lol but first I have to say......... Your a bunch of wino's hahaha :) lol most of the CC forum seem to have spent quite a bit of effort to find out how to get as pissed as poss in the lowest possible cals!!!!! Heehee shocking!

Anyway yesterday my 8yr old daughter cracked a molar on a dried banana chip (she was stealing my fruit an fibre for brekky!!!) and when we got to the dentist they promptly whipped out the needles and pliers!!! Luckily my girl is fully hardcore :) not a tear in sight and actually rather pleased to get out of a day of extended writing at school!!!
Then I had a governors meeting with the executive head of our borough council and some cabinet members!! There's some sneaky budget cutting plans that are likely to have a big impact on our schools site going down. Very worrying!
Then I had a cut an colour (brunette again lol and me liiiiiiiiiiiike!!!)
Then my best bud rang sobbing. She's failed a resit of a core module in yr 3 of her degree and it looks like her degree will actually be the worlds most expensive sheet of posh paper. Not good!!! So bout 4 hrs sleep for me last night!!!!

Today I have a big old fundraiser going on. Curry an a quiz night :) but was voted down on the healthy curry lol so i'm on an 8 calorie lunch to allow for it haha!!!

Weight loss fairies have taken away another lb in the night which is fab but rather weird!!!! I've not exercised all week an lost 3 so far??? Seriously?? How??? Is it going to magically come back in the night or what????

BUSY BUSY BUSY! How do you do it? No wonder you lost a pound with all that running around you do. Keep it up hun, its obviously working.

Your friend must be devastated. Dont know how I will cope this year when I have to sit an exam for the first time. Sounds like you too have a similar relationship to me and my best friend. We ring each other at the first sign of trouble no matter how busy or what time it is. Don't know what I would do without her.

Enjoy the curry tonight, you deserve a treat. Hope you make loads of money. :D
 
Sorry to hear about your daughters tooth and your friend, squeezy is right, with all the running around no wonder the weight is dropping off you!!! Good luck with being restrained with the curry... I couldn't do it!!! x
 
Well I was restrained with the curry. But lost it a bit with the lentil Dahl!!! still I was on my feet from 6.30am till 10.30pm so reckon I've more than justified a ladle of Dahl.......and a choc mini roll when I got in!!!! *hangs head in shame*
But still it could be worse!!! Swiss roll was my pregnancy craving with little J and I can inhale a whole one when the mood strikes me!!!
Scale fairies have now taken FOUR BLEEDING POUNDS away this week!!! I'm gobsmacked. And a teeeeny bit guilty as I've done bugger all to deserve it haha. Not a drop of sweat has been sweated this week!!
Off to provide my freind with a bucket of vodka tonight :( she has to wait weeks now for the panel to give the final decision on her degree. But it's unlikely they'll give a condonement on a core module :( it's a course prerequisite that you pass them. :( :( :(

I'm such a pleb. I just realised I've broken the 12stone barrier AND lost one whole stone since I restarted :) double milestone!! Yay!!!! Next stop the 11stone barrier!!! Whooooo!!!! Got exactly 3 stone to my lowest end of target weight!!! But I've never got to 10 before so it may not be that low :)

What a pity tho!!! I promised the girls that if I got into the 12's then I'd be drinking this weekend!!! So probably won't be in the 12's for long hahaha
