ProPoints Tinyshoes hoping for a slimmer/happier future!

Wednesday 7th March
Well I was really pleased with myself last night, coz despite having worried all day and then going to the horrible doctors appointment (am such a baby lol), I managed to stick to my 26 points yay! Didn't go for a walk, but am still pleased with myself :) My Dinner was really nice and filling, gonna have that more often now. So all in all am feeling fairly positive today, and touch wood my tummy feels a little bit smaller maybe just wishful thinking?! Fingers crossed my results come back ok just got a couple of weeks to worry about them now grrr. Oh and thanks for those of you who sent nice messages of support for yesterday, I really needed some support, my hubby isn't big into that, as awful as that sounds. So I've had one day of high points, then yesterday's low points so today am gonna just see how I go but use no more than 4 weeklies. Anyway, back to today's food!

I wasn't really looking forward to this tea, but it was absolutely gorgeous and so easy! Will definitely be buying the fish again it was lush! Out of the freezer section, simply bake in bag type thing. They do a tuna one too am gonna get that one next.

Thursday 8th March
Another good night last night, used 4 weeklies but not too bothered about that, also went for a walk. Haven't slept very well the last 2 nights so am feeling really tired today (plus totm looming in a few days time boo hoo). Had a sneaky peak at the scales this morning and it's looking good for a small loss this week, just hope am not disappointed tomorrow now haha. If I stick to points today and drink lots to try and counteract looming totm and associated water retention (far too many big words there for this time of the morning!) am hoping the scales will say the same tomorrow, fingers crossed!

Thanks, good luck to you too! Did you manage to fit a green tea in today? I managed 2! Still not keen tho lol but I try to make myself drink at least 1 cup a day. Fingers crossed for tomorrow for everyone weighing in :)
 
Friday 9th March
WI and.........I LOST 2LBS!!! YAY!!! Am sooo happy with that :D So that's 4lbs in 3 weeks which is fairly slow but it always is for me. Just got to make sure I keep sticking to it now, and counting everything over the weekends coz that's where I am most likely to fail! Not much planned this weekend so am hoping should be able to stay within my weeklies I have left. Think I will have earned around 15 APs too which I don't use so least that's a little buffer if I'm struggling (totm imminent!!). Am going to try and resist takeaway this weekend and make myself 'cook' Fri and Sat nights, prob will cook a fake takeaway lol. This next week will be hard to lose but even 1lb would be fab!

Monday 12th March
Didn't get on here again at the weekend, I still counted and went over points by 9 oops!! However, I don't use my APs which are just from walking but still it's something I've taken up recently so guess it counts?! So am hoping the extras won't matter too much! Would love to lose at least 1lb this week but I am up against it as it's totm (tmi!) and I lost 2 last week which usually means sts the next in my experience. Gonna try changing between higher and lower point days as this seems to work for me. Aiming for a 'medium' point day today, around 30ish - Edit: this went out the window - had 35 in the end due to feeling rubbish and emotional eating grrr.

Feeling rubbish this morning coz it's totm, and had a fall out (again) with hubby last night grrr all I want is a bit of help and a bit of interest oh and some affection altho maybe that is asking too much, we are married after all! Anyway, dream on I guess. Back to today I always seem to be rushing around in a morning doesn't matter how much time I give myself! I have an hour and a half from when I get up to leaving the house and it's just not enough. Wonder if that's as a result of feeling low/de-motivated?? I don't know, just seem to run out of time and get to work hassled every day and hoping I've got dressed properly lol. Need to try and get up 10 minutes earlier! So fed up of boring routine at the mo, my eyes feel heavy like I can't even be bothered to look around me, just get through the day go home cook tea do nothing go to bed blah blah boring! Feel soooo low and miserable :( Whinge over, this is meant to be a positive diary!! Trying for a low point day today!

Aw tiny shoes, did not want to read and run. I really feel for you on the husband argument front as we have the very same issues. I do think its down to the old men from mars women from Venus because so many women I know have the same issues. If like me you probably have friends whose husbands seen so living and perfect, then they are very good actors everyone has problems. And the ones that day they don't sure the ones you see on the need that have gone on killing sprees when all that pent up frustration explodes. As for needing more time I'm one of those people that is always ruining late doesn't matter how long Ice got. Just seen to find more things that need doing.

Aw thank you for reading and commenting :) It's nice to know am not the only one (not nice for you but you know what I mean!). I know no relationship is perfect. Me and my hubby have very different needs from a relationship - he needs someone to 'look after' him from a practical point of view, but I need quality time and affection which he doesn't need at all (only the bedroom type). It's really difficult and this time last year I was planning on leaving him how awful am I?! Anyway we talked and we agreed we would both try harder, but here we are another year on with the same issues and I feel so so down about it all. He doesn't see, or won't admit there is a problem. Don't know what to do really. And I'm the same with time, if I got up an hour earlier in a morning I'd still end up rushing around, always so many things to do for women isn't there?! My hubby gets up 25 mins before work and goes without doing any jobs first etc, must be nice! Anyway, sorry, listen to me going on! Thanks again for stopping by :)

Had another terrible night with hubby. He makes decisions that affect us both with his parents and not with me, it makes me feel like we're kids not adults! Anyway after crying for an hour I went out to a friends house so wasn't too bad a night in the end. Also didn't eat eat eat which is what I wanted to do! Stayed clear of any choc coz I knew if I had even a small piece I wouldn't be able to stop, so that was good. Here's to a better day??

We had a bit of a busy up over mothers day dinner as last year we spent it with his family and I said I didn't want to this year. Last year was my first one as a mother and it want special cause we all pandered to his parents requests. He said he just wants to keep everyone happy which in my eyes meant not me. So after much deliberation we are going out for the day just the three of us. But I know his mum will have something to say about it behind my back.
How you are ok and a big well done on keeping to the plan even though you wanted to comfort eat xx

Glad you managed to talk him round re Mother's Day, you're a mum so it should be your day doing what you want with your family. Don't worry about what his mum may say, she needs to try and understand it's your day too. Hope you enjoy your day :)

As for what decisions does my hubby make without me. To be honest it's always been a bit difficult between us in that respect because his Dad treats him like a child who can't make his own decisions, and always thinks he knows best/everything. He gets involved re how much we should spend on things/where we should get them from etc etc. I mean I appreciate help and advice from parents but at the end of the day it's our life and we should be able to do what we want, but he mainly sides with his Dad and it's really hard coz I feel like am not part of our family if that makes sense, like an outsider. Recently he made a decision about his job and didn't discuss it with me just with his parents and it really upset me. Also his Dad has insulted me a couple of times, he is a bit 'old school' when it comes to women regarding 'their place' if you know what I mean! We have other problems too regarding lack of affection or interest etc (well I do, he doesn't apparently). Anyway am trying to struggle through! I said to him last night can we please not argue tonight coz life is too short and I can't be doing with it. And he only got irritated with me once, but I stayed calm and just said I won't have him speaking to me disrespectfully, but it is how he has been brought up so it's difficult. Anyway, thanks for reading and asking. Sorry I do go on a bit sometimes lol.

Hmm last night was almost a huge disaster! Well, in diet terms anyway. I just wanted to eat eat eat, stupid hormones! Wasn't even hungry was just like a woman possessed looking through cupboards etc lol. Had really bad tummy pains too. I had some choc and then sat there fidgeting coz I wanted more. Didn't give in too much, went for a walk instead, but still ate more than I should have! The sooner totm goes away, the better! Need to try and have a low point day today coz it's WI tomorrow and am hoping for a sts don't think I'll get a loss though.

Well I've lost 1lb! Am fairly pleased with that as it's totm and it's been a very difficult week food wise and personal life wise this week. I've REALLY struggled not to binge on chocolate at times, but I managed to stop myself. I have done less walking, eaten less fruit, and eaten some kind of bread every day so wasn't really expecting to lose anything! Must focus again next week because i feel like I'm starting to slowly slip back into old habits again! Here's to a more positive week :)

Monday 19th March
I'm a bad girl for not ever getting on here at the weekend! But then the less said about this weekend the better, personally and diet wise! I decided to have a weekend off counting although after writing things down I have eaten I don't think it was overly bad, maybe 10 too many points but have done quite alot of walking (and crying - does this burn calories?!). Personally, well, Friday night hubby started talking about things and I thought we had a bit of a breakthrough, then Saturday it all went VERY pear shaped again. Spent most of Sunday trying to forget Saturday, but I struggle when have been hurt to just forget it and move on, hubby isn't one for saying sorry he just carries on as if nothing has happened. I honestly feel like giving up, running away and starting again. But am not brave enough haha. Anyway am not feeling too bad this morning, apart from the usual Monday morning blues. Must try to eat more fruit, less bread, less chocolate this week! Would love another lb off, so here goes:
