Tuesday 20th March
Morning everyone! Had a fairly good night last night, there was a little bit of boredom/loneliness eating going on but I didn't go too mad so that was good. Also got out for a half hour brisk walk :) It must be the first time in over a week me and hubby didn't argue about anything too. He was out for a few hours though lol. Anyway as a result of that I slept really well right through until the alarm which also must be a first for a couple of weeks now! So, here's hoping today will be as good!

Breakfast = 5

Ref the green tea - have you tried Lidl's Green Tea with Vanilla - it is a much smoother taste than any of the others I've tried, and being from Lidl's it's also cheaper!

Thanks Moonwatcher. Dieting is hard enough isn't it, without extra problems on top lol. My main problem is emotional/boredom eating so seeing as I've been really unhappy for a year that's how come I've put a stone on in that time! Got to sort myself out, my weight is the first hurdle lol. Ooh I was thinking of starting to shop in LIDL to try and save a bit of money on shopping so I'll have a look for that green tea in there - thanks for the tip :)
 
Wednesday 21st March
Hmm today's date rings a bell with me today but I don't know why?! Hope I haven't forgotten something, well, I have lol, but I mean I hope it's not someone's birthday or something! Had another fairly ok night with hubby last night so this week is going much better than last week! Got out for a walk again and didn't eat too many weeklies :) So, long may it continue! Have developed a strange craving for peanut butter for some reason, only recently tried it and now can't stop thinking about it lol. Trouble is I can't figure out what to eat it on, don't fancy it on bread, so just ate a little bit off a spoon last night :eek: nom!

Food looks good Tinyshoes! You could try peanut butter on a WW bagel, or on crumpets. My hubby likes it with jam (USA style) but I prefer it with a scrape of honey and/or banana sliced on top is good too. If you like stir-fries, you can use it with some soy sauce and perhaps some honey, chilli if you like the heat, to make a satay type sauce. 3PP per tablespoon :eek: but it goes a long way!

Hi Moonwatcher, thanks for your suggestions, I might try it on a bagel yeah coz they are a bit 'firmer' than normal bread aren't they?! Might try it on oatcakes altho they are a bit dry. At the mo I just get half a tsp and eat it off the spoon lol, it's sooooooo gorgeous, can't believe I've missed out on it all these years! Something else high in points I need to try and leave alone in the cupboard :rolleyes: Love the idea of using it for cooking too, I love satay mmmmmm. Thanks :)

Well I remembered why yesterday's date rings a bell, it was the day I got with my ex years and years ago lol, am a bit weird like that I remember dates and numbers really easily. Anyway, back to the present time, had a really lazy night last night just felt real tired and sluggish so didn't go out for a walk tut tut slapped wrist! Will go out tonight tho, honest! Hopefully this horrible fog will have lifted by then coz some of the roads I walk around are real dark and eerie as it is! Might have to choose an alternative route. Anyway, am feeling quite chirpy today for some unknown reason, maybe it's the St John's Wort kicking in I've been on them about 5 weeks now. Am gonna try and have a low point day today coz WI tomorrow and am not optimistic for a loss (naughty sneeky peek this morning showing sts), but fingers crossed! So, today's food:

Lol funny the things we remember! Aww you may have lost by tomorrow,never can tell with weight it seems.Good luck for tomorrow's wi.Shame it's so foggy where you are,I use a head torch when I walk my puppy of a evening as its quite dark round where I live aswell.

Yeah I know, it was my first long term boyfriend haha I was only 19 - prob should have hung on to him as well - he was the most romantic fella I've ever been out with! Lol. Thanks for the good luck wishes but I sts today as suspected boo hoo hoo. The fog had cleared by 'walkies' time so wasn't too bad although it was a really still quiet eerie kind of night. Head torch is a good idea, my hubby has a couple I think, might borrow one!
 
Aw at romantic,us women soon get bored of that lol,I like a happy medium of mushy but not in your face with it! That's good then that your hubby has some head torches.As to wi,see it as a positive that at least you didn't gain and next time will be different,I think you're doing really well considering the upset you have had lately. :0)
 
Friday 23rd March
Well I sts this week which obviously am disappointed with, especially as twice this week I have resisted chocolate when offered it! I find it really hard to stay focused and motivated after a sts! But am gonna tell myself I may have lost 0.5lb and it wouldn't show on my scales as they only do full lbs. I didn't count properly last weekend and when I roughly added it up I did think I had gone maybe 10 over my weeklies, so maybe it was more and I'd forgotten something. I need to try and keep track better at weekends, maybe write things down even if I don't get on here! Will try to talk myself into joining Zumba again but just don't fancy it on my own :rolleyes: So, here's to another week! I do run my weeklies from Mon-Sun but WI Fri so whether that affects WI I'm not sure, but I would have thought they equal themselves out as I generally eat around 30 over weekend and the others during the week. So that's 5lbs in 5 weeks gone, bit slow but it's still 1lb a week. Will aim for a lb this next week too. Tonight will be a challenge as am in on my own :( Anyway, hope you all have a fab weekend!! Edit: Am gonna start my weeklies from WI day now coz sometimes I go over what I have left slightly on a weekend, this way if I eat loads I will only have myself to blame when I only have dailies left for during the week!!! So will run them from Fri - Thurs!

Sts is better then a gain so please don't feel too bad about it all!! Zumba is fun,I went last year for a couple of months but I can understand what you mean about going on your own,yea sounds like you have added veg within your soup so that's good.You can always nip on here if you're bored tonight lol :0)
 
Oh Tinyshoes, I hear you on the one pound a week. I'm averaging the same here. We *know* it's a sensible, sustainable loss, but we still want more don't we? I keep telling myself all the right things, but every so often have a bit of a sulky strop that I'm not losing more! :D But the thing is, it is a sensible loss, and it is sustainable... I have a friend who started the same time as me on SW. She has had some fantastic losses of 5lbs, 6lbs, 4.5lbs etc. Unfortunately in between those she has had some similar gains! I'm a fair few pounds ahead of her, even with my little old pound a week average! Keep going and console yourself with the idea that your skin will spring back into shape much more sucessfully if you lose slowly and steadily!

Thank you, it is really difficult sticking to a 'diet' when you're an emotional eater going through emotional times lol. As for the romance I love it, not that I really see any anymore, but I love real soppy and cheesey gestures lol, I can ALMOST remember what romance is :rolleyes:

Thanks (again) I just start to lose motivation when I know I've refused 'naughty' food only to sts grrr! I kind of 'enjoyed' (as much as I can ever enjoy exercise!) Zumba when I went but used to go with a friend, I'm shy so find it hard to go into places on my own, I'm a bit pathetic in that way lol.

Thank you for the words of encouragement :) I know it's a sensible kind of loss, but it's not fast enough haha. Feel like I put the weight on so quick but thinking about it, in reality it went on over a year slowly, so guess I've got to face up to being dedicated for a long time to get it off again (boooo!).
 
Monday 26th March
Well what can I say? Friday night was a disaster lol, have had the Easter Eggs in the house for a good few weeks now but I caved and ate one, tut tut smacked bum!! So after that I decided I will start my weeklies from WI day which is Friday and then if I am extra bad at the weekend I will HAVE to be extra good Mon - Thurs to claw it back lol. So Friday I ate 20 weeklies :eek:, Saturday I ate 9, and Sunday I ate 9, so that leaves me with 11 weeklies to last til Thursday night! GOT TO STOP EMOTIONAL LONELINESS EATING!! AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH! Oops sorry for shouting but honestly I get so mad with myself sometimes. Don't think the sts on Friday helped my mood either, but I need to get a life is my main problem! OK, today's food:

Yea is so much harder when life throws the 'bad times' at us,easier to find comfort in crisps then a apple! Aw I do like some romance,maybe do what me and my OH did after we went through a rough patch - a little list of nice things to do for each other :0)
