Hope that helps clarify your problem a bit?
I can totally sympathise with your situation, because it sounds a lot like I used to be - dieting brilliantly for a week or two, then ordering the two-for-one pizzas and eating them both. And then doing it again the next night because if you've fallen off the wagon, why bother? Two steps forward, one-hundred and fifty back. But here's the point of the TL thread - guess how much my sympathy is going to help you get thinner? Not at all. So don't come asking for it, because you're barking up the wrong tree.
There's a million diets out there, and they have their fans and their haters. It doesn't really matter which you choose - if you have a well-thought-out diet plan and a well-thought-out exercise plan, and you follow them strictly and honestly, you will lost body fat. It's both 'that easy' and 'that difficult.'
If you want my advice on a diet, it's this: cut out processed food, and cut out snacks. These are the two things that combine to make food addiction, and that is what causes you to have those blow outs. Eat your 2000 calories a day, spread across three mealtimes, and having nothing but water to drink in between. Combine that with your excellent exercise levels and you'll soon be back to lean and trim.
My advice on sorting your life out - start planning ahead what you are going to eat, and stick to the plan. WW, SW and others are ways to make this easier if you don't like the maths of calorie counting. Post your plans in here, and when you stick to them, you'll get a cheer, and if you miss, you'll get a smack. You'll soon learn that you prefer cheers to smackings.
