Hi Tracey, your meals are looking amazing and delicious! So glad you're in the zone and working it! The sausage you had at lunch the other day is probably going to be higher in syns than you think, even though it was grilled. A standard thick pork sausage is 4.5 syns each so for the two sausages that's 9 syns already. Double cream is around 3.5 syns per tbsp, I'd guess that there'd be roughly 2 tbsp in a portion of soup. Eating out really racks up the syns which is why when I go out to eat I don't even bother counting syns loL! I just eat smallish portions and enjoy, then eat lightly with other meals during the day.
The porridge oats you mentioned can probably serve as a healthy extra, what's the weight of the contents? If it's around 35g then you're good to go, if it's more then you might have to syn the difference... I can't imagine it would be much though.
Good luck with weigh in, I bet you'll have a fab loss!
Hi Tracy
lovely looking dishes, I will be keeping an eye on your thread

Found your diary and just read through it all First thing I have to say is it seems we are familiar in a number of ways! Close in age, but I could totally relate to your post about you being an anxious person and working yourself up over things. That has been me all my life and as of yet, not managed to shake it of. Ultimately, I think it comes down to confidence issues and I'm hoping some of that will go when i'm a skinny minny (HA! I have no idea what it feels like to be skinny!)
Also the impulse eating, I can be guilty of that but I'm starting to control it well. The days I'm off mini's for a while....thats when i've been very naughty / feeling guilty so i stay away. Again though, I think i have that under control now. Soo easy isn't it, just to go to the shop and randomly buy a load of crap- and wolf it all down!
You're doing well though, keep it going! You still go to a class, right? As for suggestions- you mentioned a couple of times about guessing syns for pesto etc..my one hint would be check every time as you can easily underestimate the value. I use digital scales for things in grams etc and i have a set of those plastic spoons for measurements such as tsp, desert spoon etc- that way you're totally covered by the value what the SW app gives you for syns values.
How did you make the mustard / pepper steak sauce btw?
Looking forward to keeping up with your diary! xx

Hi baby-belle. Thanks for stopping by. I love your profile pictureHi just thought I would pop I and say hi! I'm trying to get in the zone I've been faffing about for months and feel huge so I'm trying to get ideas from people how are you getting on?

I haven't even tried red or green days, I just love EE! Hope you have a good day today
Ooh thanks for the ideas hun. Healthy Extra A aint a problem for me because I always use it up with milk in tea throughout the day and then usually some cheese! but thanks The Pesto is gorgeous, I would highly reccommend it. I got two lunches and two dinners out of it so its great value too!Hiya!
Glad to hear you are back fully motivated again, I'm sure those excess pounds will drop back off over the next few weeks That pesto pasta looks amazing, I think i might end up making that for tonight's tea actually as I have nothing planned. Regarding your pitta breads, you can use certain ones as a HEX B Do you have Co-Op's in Ireland?? I know a certain one of their's can deffo be used. Log in online and see what your options are! As an A choice, do you like chocolate milk? I've recently discovered Chocolate Oatly which you can have 200mls of It's stored with the long life milks on the shelf, not in the fridges. Tesco sell it x
I've always synned it at 1.5 per tbsp? Is 25g the same as a tbsp? Personally I wouldn't have thought so as it's really light! Maybe measure out a tbsp and then weigh it to see how much it weighs. I really doubt it would be 25g although I could definitely be wrong as I'm hopeless at estimating weights!
Maybe in future just count it towards your HEXa to be safe and make sure you've weighed it out
