Triage is at GOAAALLLLL!!!!

Well good morning all.....

I did indeed have my roast beef yesterday including all the carb laden trimmings and a small amount of pud, key lime pie to be precise! and very nice it was too!

As for the tum, it has been fine all weekend considering what I've tucked away...? I'm not at all worried about work move etc but sometimes the body knows more than the brain so it could be an underlying contender!!

This morning I'm back to clean eating, I'm also going to have just a couple of days of pure protein and no carbs, just to drop a couple of lbs of water weight as I'm sat at 10.5 this morning....and I've got the carb bloat going on that I can really feel now which is making me feel a stone heavier all over....I actually miss the light feeling that 100% Atkins gives me!

Before Atkins I never had the 'I'm full' valve or the 'I've put on weight' feeling nor the 'I need to cut back today as I had too much yesterday' mentality.......but thanks to this WOE I now have all 3 and it's great to gain back some control!

Even though it's 4lb up from my lowest weight I'm not worried, with the amounts of carb I've consumed over these last two weekends and a little in between along with alcohol it's not a lot in the grand scheme of things and half of it will be water! I know it's likely to be gone by next Monday as this week I'm 100% focused....

Got to get back on track now for

A) My leaving do in a couple of weeks!

B) My holiday to Turkey in August

C) Christmas do - This year I will wear a damn dress for once in my life!!!! And feel comfortable....

Anyway, I've still got three lovely days off before work whilst everyone is back at work/school in the household, so no temptations to go out somewhere nice and eat and drink to be merry lol!!!

Oh, and a rather poignant photo I found is below!

Hope you all have a lovely day x

Morning Jo

So glad the tum has settled down, and agree that you've got a great list of positive things to look forward to :)

I've decided to try my hand at oopsie rolls!

Breakfast was a small amount of leftover beef from yesterday with mayo and a little mustard....

Lunch will be oopsie and beef roll with mayo I think!!

Today is a beef theme!!!!!

Plus 1 x coffee n cream.....

Not too sure about dinner just yet?! Maybe some scrambled eggs and bacon!

Trying to get the water in too......! I will shift the gain if it kills me :)

Plus trying to get the eggs separated was too much traumatic for me! :D

Lol!!!!

Mine are just like airy McDonald's muffins, they also taste remarkably like Yorkshire puddings!!! Very filling too which was a surprise...

I've popped the rest in between sheets of kitchen towel and put them in an airtight container.....

Hopefully they'll keep until tomorrow so that I can keep up with my ultra focused few weeks!

Rolls look fantastic. I've never tried the regular oopsies - must put it on my list. So convenient to be able to have a wee sandwich.

Evening Jo, sounds like you've been having a blast. Great to see you so focused and your oopsies look great :D

I never made oopsies...just the revolution rolls pretty much the same I think.

They r really nice, I put them in the fridge overnight, and had a 3 stack ham sandwich today......one on the base, bit of ham, one in the middle, bit of ham and one on top!

Deffo hits the spot for a bread fix!

Soooooooo, today I had to go in for a bit of training/fighting to get me back up to speed for next week, didn't begrudge it on my rest day as I'm looking forward to being back out on the streets again and I'll get a day back anyway :0)

Today so far has been.......

Breakfast - 2 slices of Edam and coffee with cream x 1

Lunch - 3 Stack oopsie with ham and coffee with s/s milk x 2......

Have no idea what dinner will be and really can't be bothered with it at the moment...

Rain is still persistent and I despise it!

Hope everyone has had a good day!! x

In the words of the fabulous Hugh Grant, "...in the non prostitute sense, naturally..." :D :D

Glad the oopsies went well on Day 2.

Haaaaaaa haaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! Yep they were very good on day two :0)

I've been 100% Atkins today for a change, first dry alcohol day in about 5 days :/ not good!!!

And it's totm AGAIN!! Feeling really bloated n yuk and the scales are not moving down quick enough for me at all, but it's my own doing and my body has to recover from alcohol abuse!

I'm hopefully going to see some form of loss come Monday so I shan't get disheartened yet and I will stick with it......

So Dinner tonight was 2 Jamie Oliver sausages for 0.5 carbs, 1 small slice of black pudding, 4 streaky bacon rashers, 1 fried egg, mushrooms and small amount of plum tomatoes.....! I was hungry!

Oh and a coffee with cream........

Not too bad.....think I'm still in my allowance but will now go n check!!

Update****18 carbs in total and 1300 calories....

Evening Jo! Fighting sounds very tough !!

Susie... You crack me up!! Xx

Morning all......

Scales are up again this morning to 10.5 so not impressed at all and feel hugely bloated and yuk! Stuck with it all day yesterday so really at a loss other than potential effects of totm!

Today I shall be getting out my Atkins book again and stripping right back to basics...and no alcohol until the 23rd which is my leaving do (it's gotta be done!)

Just popped some belly pork in the oven which I will graze on throughout today with a few salad leaves and mayo.....and will try my hardest to get some water in too....

Can't believe I've sabotaged myself, but I refuse to get on that slippery slope and I WILL be 9st something for my holiday in August!!!

Currently looking for a laptop that's good enough for photo editing....why is there so much choice?

My ultimate would be a MacBook Pro, but with a 1K price tag eeeekkkkk!

Morning Jo, pain on the scales! I do think alcohol is evil and will bite us all - after 3 weeks of vino, my weight suddenly jumped in the last four days - think combo of wine and some yummy burgen bread :sigh: Keep going:)

Awwww you'll get back there soon darling :) mmmm belly pork - I love pork!
I have a MacBook pro and I'd never buy anything else I bought it 5 years ago and it's still running like new, I've had other laptops that just die or slow down so much that they have to be replaced within a couple of years, if you can afford it I think it's a great investment
