Triage is at GOAAALLLLL!!!!

Joining the 'i love my mac' club, though mine is a 2 year old MacBook air which I bought 2ndhand.

Trevs lappy that was less than 4 years old literally blew up spewing out smoke last year! New one is noisy and I hate the metallic mouse pad as it makes scrolling a nightmare!

Ba haaaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa no alcohol until the 23rd my ass!! I had a glass and a half of wine last night! although I am down to 10.4 this morning and not 10.5 1/4

Soooooooooooooo, finally bought a laptop yesterday after being without one for a fair few months, went for a HP in the end, £300 off, also got new wireless HP printer with £60 off and free pack of inks worth £45 thrown in! Ooooohhhh and I bought a new special edition Bamboo graphics tablet to go with it all, special offer of £50 instead of £130... It is a fab piece of kit and when I work out how much it can do (which incidently is s**t loads) I'll be able to create some works of art within my photo editing suites.....it has apps and everything built in too.............I love gadgets!

So I saved £465....Bargain!!! I needed it as my poor Canon EOS is sat in the corner very unloved at the moment.

Anyway, back to work today after 5 lovely days off, but boy does the time ply when your off........why can't work go just as quickly? I now have 4 days left in the job from hell followed by 2 days off and then onto pastures new! Getting a bit nervous now though as it'll be like starting a new school!

Weather is still shocking which is making everyone miserable, hope it picks up soon :(

Have a fab day all x

Lol on the wine, I'm not having any tomorrow but.....

New computer and kit sounds fab.

Very exciting on the new job, hope it all goes well. :)

Morning all!!!

3 hours late home from work again!!!!! I'm knackered :( finished at 3am and up again at 7 for the school run...bad times!

On a positive I'm down to 10.3 this morning, scales are moving again thankfully! I'm hoping I can drop another one or two come Monday!

Going to try and get a few hours sleep before work at two! Have a good day all x

Morning all, still 10.3 this morning which is good........although I'm still finding these last 3lbs in this bracket difficult to get past as I keep sabotaging myself with wine!!!

I really want to get to my goal and I'm only bloody 6lbs away......how difficult can it be???

Two days left at work and in current role and I seriously cannot wait! Hopefully the new post will allow me to focus a bit more as I won't have time to sit and think for hours what I can and cannot eat and it's not as stressful so hopefully the wine will cut down.......I also have to drive to work for the new role early morning and then drive all day so that helps :)

I slept for England last night so all caught up now! Hope you all have a fab weekend! And sorry I haven't been catching up with diaries, I just haven't had time this week :( x

Morning all, well last day at work is finally here!!!

And the sun is shining :)

Bit of a problem at the moment, wondering if anyone has any suggestions???

Everything I'm eating at the moment is going straight through me, now I know this isn't normal so what's going on all of a sudden?? My OH says it's because I'm not eating anything to bind etc that you'd get from carbs.....bread, pasta, potatoes etc!

At a bit of a loss and don't know what to do??

Don't think it's anything to do with not eating carbs, Jo, protein is much more dense than carby stuff and your body has to work harder to digest it...

Sounds as if your tum still isn't right from the last episode you had? Or are you having much s/f stuff?

That's why I can't get my head around it? I'm not having any sf stuff at all, it seems everytime I have something really fatty or oily like butter, mayo, meat fat etc it happens but I know if I cut these out the diet won't work, and I can't have this happening when I'm out and about at work all the time........

The only solution I can think is to take Imodium on a daily basis :(

Daily immodium can't be good for you. I think you need a word with your doctor. It can't be the diet or it would have been happening to you long ago, would be happening to all of us, and would be a known side effect. It sounds like you have a tummy bug or some kind of gut imbalance - you might need some acidophilus to rebalance it.

If you're really concerned it's the diet, try going to a maintenance level for a week. Have a slice of wholemeal bread a day and cut your fats back. But it can't just be what you're eating, it must be reacting with something.
