Hi all

Thanks so much for your lovely replies - it means a lot

we now have new alarms and security lights up, but the new window and door's are on order, so still just boards up at the moment - will feel better when they're replaced I hope.

Still not able to sleep much, so gonna take some pills tonight. I'm at work now which is helping take my mind off things, but it keeps coming over me in waves

Anyway, needless to say I have no idea what my diet is doing, haven't had much of an appetite for the last couple of days, so hopefully it'll negate the holiday!!

Hi Twiggs

Glad you are ok - it's so hard not to think about I know - its such an invasion of your privacy & soo scary - my parents were burgled in the night when my x hubby was staying with them while they slept & they took his car - my dad still feels like it is his fault as he was just staying there for the night & my x hubby had a mercedes at the time which he had worked really hard for to be able to afford - obv insured but it really knocks ya for six . Good for you with the extra security now x

Morning all

I had a good sleep last night, and everything is looking a lot better after that ... I am now refusing to let the scumbags get me down ... at the end of the day nobody was hurt and things can be replaced!!!

Windows and door are on order, so should be done in a week or so, but the guy said the boarding that's up is actually stronger than glass, so not worried about it now - even tho it looks horrible


Annnnyway ... back to WW tonight - think I'll be up about 6lbs, which isn't ideal, but I'll be 100% back on the diet, so will expect a big loss next week

Will try and catch up on diaries at some point, still doing lists for insurers at the moment and sorting the house out!

Hi all

Good news! Firstly I only put on 2lbs!! Very happy with that!

And more importantly - the police called earlier to say they had arrested someone on suspicion of burglary, and not long after they bailed him my car was found dumped, locked by the side of the road ....... Not sure what state it's in, as the police didn't know at that stage, but I had to drop the spare key off at the garage and I got a quick peek at her and she looks okay from what i could see. AND the insurance man was round today, and it looks like everything else is going to go smoothly
