Unfinished diary

Well I didn't feel like breakfast or planning the weekends meals before going shopping, but after catching up with your diary Crumble, I am positively starving and also thinking when can I fit in the lemon pudding!:)

Please try and fix someone up with sil but obviously you and hubbie have to be present too. We can get all the story that way :D

Hey hun,
Just read on Jackie's or Tilly's about you wanting me to get back asap about the dumplings and now can't remember if I answered you lol
I will take pics and put them up asap after along with a detailed report (surprise surprise lol), also making Sushi in a minute with the kids so if they turn out ok :fingerscrossed: I'll put them up too, not made them before gulp! either way i'll report back.
Have a great day hun, catch you later xx

Hey Sweetie,
Are you ok ? Not seen you about much today, hope everything is going well and you have a lovely evening, be back later xx

great news re DS1 an his job :) no idea re picnic food. I've not had a picnic in ages. Rivita and philly? nom nom, cherry tomatoes, salady bits, sandwich, sw quiche?

Send SIL on an errand and leave a message 'see you later popped out' ... while on errand you run around like headless chickens preparing picnic? xxxxx

Ooooh when I next go on a picnic (could be another 30 years yet, cos i'm sure that's when we last went lol) I'm gonna get you lot to pack my basket, yummy ideas there.
Also love the idea of changing the salmon to chicken Crumble, could eat chicken everyday yum yum, Salmon's good but not as good as chicken unless of course it's smoked salmon pate like they had in the SW xmas book, that was to die for ..oh damn now I've thought of it I have to make it lol.
Well done to DS1 on his job, that's great news and hope you have the loveliest time...come to think of it if it stays nice tomorrow might just pack one ourselves, we are taking the kids to the aquadrome tomorrow (assuming it doesn't rain), love it there and so do they, only thing is I get to be the midges lunch,I had 36 bites on my back last time we went.
Anyway have a good day tomorrow and will catch ya later xx

I'd definitely take a picnic if you can Lily. They're one of my favourite things, summer or winter. We used to go on loads and have decided to revive the habit.

One of my happiest memories from when DH and I were going out was having a very simple picnic by a river of French bread, pate, posh crisps and apple juice.
We just sat there in the autumn sun watching the ducks on the water and waddling around the trees in the park by us. Sat planning our future together. It was so lovely.
Then everything in the bin so nothing to carry and off shopping again. :D

Right, taking just about everything we spoke about last night.
So far the sun is shining on us but if it gets wet there is somewhere to eat thats undercover.

Food today: RED

[STRIKE]
2x weetabix ~ HXA, HXB
1 tsp sugar ~ 1 syn
[/STRIKE]
Tiger roll ~ 6.5 syns
cheddar ~ HXA
Branston pickle ~ 1 syn
Lots of salad/veg
Ham
melon/apple/banana
Hola hoops ~ 6.5 syns
shape caramel dessert ~ 5.5 syns

Thai Honey, Lime & Chilli chicken ~ 1 syn
steamed new potatoes ~ HXB
peas/carrots/florets ~ HXB

[STRIKE]
1/2 grapefruit/melon
[/STRIKE]

= 1x A's, 2x B's + 20.5 syns

87.5/95 syns

That lot doesn't look too bad and still leaves me 7.5 syns to play with tomorrow so I shall be fine for my braising steak and potato dumplings by the looks of things. :D

Well, hope you all have a lovely weekend. I best go get our picnic packed up.
Just wish I hadn't got landed with this cold but maybe the outside air will clear my nose a bit. :)

See you all later. ;)

morning hun,
Doubt I'll be going anywhere today, my psoriasis has decided to flare up and I peeled like a snake. The sole of my right foot is so sore I can barely stand on it, been awake with it most of the night. The kids are being lovely about it, know they were looking forward to going today. Going to send Malcy to the chemist in a bit see if he can get a dressing and try and wrap it up, that way all might not be lost yet. If the worst comes to the worst we can do one of 2 things..Malcy can take them to the aquadrome anyway or we can do up a picnic and sit out in the back garden and they can play swing-ball (which they love). I am really gutted, I could cry, it always happens when I have something planned. Am just hoping that the hospital can sort out something to clear it in time for my daughters wedding, that's really worrying me.
Anyway sweetie, your picnic looks fab, hope you all have a wonderful day, will catch up with you later xx

Thanks girls, am sitting here very teary eyed, you'd think I'd be used to all this after nearly 40 years..what's upsetting is how good the kids are being about it and I know they were really looking forward to it.
Thanks Jackie, will have to have a serious look at reiki, have heard so many people talk about it and have a small idea what it's about, but would like to know more, that's my mission for today to look it up xx

aww sweetie don't cry. You can't change whats happened but you can still have a fabby day okay? :D

I love reiki. Had someone mentioned it to me 5 years ago i'd have poo poo'd it or laughed but hey i'll try anything once, glad I did and never looked back. Took my reiki masters in July 2008. gosh 3 years ago

I don't use it as a job etc etc but use it daily for myself and for friends etc xxxxx

Lily the kids are proving how much fun they have with you. If they were bored at your house they'd be sulking or moaning about not going out. From the stories you've told they don't need to be taken anywhere to be entertained :D

exactly and if its a nice day get the hose out own aqua fun in the garden, My kids used to love this :D

Thanks girls, now I really am crying... have put a pic up in my album if you're brave enough you can have a look (I have to keep a record for the hospital of all changes), I know the kids have fun here ...hence they spend so much time with us, it's just so annoying that this always happens every time I make plans xx

I would definately recommend reiki. I have something called hypermobility syndrome, so get a lot of trouble with my joints. One of my friends does reiki and I've had a couple of sessions with her, it really is amazing!
