I'd definitely take a picnic if you can Lily. They're one of my favourite things, summer or winter. We used to go on loads and have decided to revive the habit.
One of my happiest memories from when DH and I were going out was having a very simple picnic by a river of French bread, pate, posh crisps and apple juice.
We just sat there in the autumn sun watching the ducks on the water and waddling around the trees in the park by us. Sat planning our future together. It was so lovely.
Then everything in the bin so nothing to carry and off shopping again.
Right, taking just about everything we spoke about last night.
So far the sun is shining on us but if it gets wet there is somewhere to eat thats undercover.

That lot doesn't look too bad and still leaves me 7.5 syns to play with tomorrow so I shall be fine for my braising steak and potato dumplings by the looks of things.
Well, hope you all have a lovely weekend. I best go get our picnic packed up.
Just wish I hadn't got landed with this cold but maybe the outside air will clear my nose a bit.
See you all later.
