Vanessa Dukan Diary 2 Jan 2012

Suffice to say i think i managed to eat a food type from every country in Europe yesterday! Quite a feat... lol. Oh and china!

Drawing a big line underneath it - and hiding in bedroom from the smell and sight bacon rolls downstairs...
 
And what did India do to you!!??!! ;)

Hope you're okay hon .... it's one of those life experiences that we all have to go through so we think we'll take it in our stride .. but when it actually happens ...... well that's another story. I feel for your whole family, I really do xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

D: ??? Copious drinkys and whatever a wedding buffet presents me with - last time i went to this venue, they did bacon rolls and chips mmmm (will count as my gala meal)
Edit:- countless gin, lime and sodas. No buffet except 2 bits choc wedding cake but had bit munchies when got home; 1pc toast with flora buttery (eeek but mmmm) and marmite and 3 chunks praline choc
Had intended to have my oatbran in porridge when home but forgot - oooops!

(not a brilliant day food wise - low on veg and protein and high on ice cream!!)

Hi I've been doing the Dukan Diet now for two weeks tomorrow and I've lost 12 lb so far, there doesn't seem many of us doing this diet, and I was wondering if you can help me? Big dilemma .... can I have bovril or oxo on my veg as substitue gravy?

Hi - well done on ur losses so far! Brilliant result.

Re ur query, i dont use bovril or oxo so dont have a clue about their nutritional content! I do however use ocassional knor reduced salt stock cubes/powders and alrhough i havent personally, i know of others who occasionally use a bit bisto gravy granules - but just occasionally and without adding-in the juices etc from the roast. However im not advising that in an official Dukan capacity!

Sorry i cant help more! I would suggest u read thru the posts on the main Dukan forum for hints and tips and also have a squiz in the recipe forum! U would also be best off posting ur queries in the main forum where more folks will read it and be able to give u better informed answers than me!

L: shirataki noodles, chicken, BBQ sauce; jelly
S: ham salad sammich, oatbran porridge, apple
Snacks: frozen yogurt
 
Weds 29 Feb PV conso (Day 16 of 70)

B: rhubarb and yogurt
L: wm toast, scrambled egg, smoked salmon, 2 Linda Mccartney sausages, half tin plum tomatoes
D: stir fry veg, 3 roasted chicken thighs, BBQ sauce; jelly
