Ha Jo there is no way he would do what I'm doing. It needs willpower. He keeps making excuses about joining the gym too !

Shattered today hubby been coughing most of the night. Early one tonight after going to see a play at local arts centre. Should be interesting!
Low carb again as no gym

L prawn avocado lettuce cucumber mayo
D lamb mint burger spinach goats cheese tomatoes
S coconut yoghurt with raspberries and blackberries
W more than yesterday. Was too busy to drink !

How r u doing on carb cycling? I'm very interested in that :)
I'm currently on Exante, but before tried dukan (not for me) and ketogenic diet, which is great and I love cos it has a lot of foods that I so much enjoy having. Just got bored and that's why I switched, but plan to go back on it.
Was wondering what book do you have on carb cycling, because the ones that I know don't allow cheat days, but I'd love to incorporate that :rolleyes:

unfortunately I had to have the same conversation with my husband a while ago about losing weight for his health - men just don't think about weight the same way that we do I guess. But having lost male family members to obesity related illness it's important to me that he looks after himself.

my hubby is now on slimming world which suits him because he can still have a beer and a takeaway. The weight just dropped off him easily (soooo blooming annoying!) in fact so much so that he now preaches to me about how it's the only safe and proper way to lose weight and blah blah blah - errr you stick to your diet mate and I'll stick to mine!! Lol.
 
Hi all. Im only on day 4 and only had one high carb day due to being busy this week and not having enough Time to exercise have just got the Chris Powell book tonight so will read and let you know. I ordered two by accident if anyone wants one !!!!!
I felt hungry on the high carb day but lost the day after high carb. Will start properly Monday and report back
 
And the best thing I've just read says. Cheat day. Eat what you want all day long ! This tends to get the best results!

Low carb day again
No alcohol tonight as saving for treat day tomorrow ! Hopefully get chance to read my carb cycling book later
Have had a ridiculously busy week at work will be nice to stop and chill for a while.
 
Glad you're having a relaxing weekend, sweetie - and hope the book is a good read.

I think I will stick to just low carb for a while to get back in the swing of things, I remembered how undisciplined i got on JUDDD lol - but you're much stronger than me so you will crack it no problem :)
 
Thanks Suze !!! Had such a busy week I'm pretty ready to pass out now. Keeping my wine until tomorrow night as I have to get up and get to a class for 9.30 in the morning. Plans for rest of weekend are gym tomorrow possible swim back home to play with my new gel nail polish kit and read my book. Have brought some work home to do but we will see !!!! Am hoping for ok weather so can possibly get out for a nice walk with dog. Then takeaway and wine tomorrow night!!!
Sunday roast dinner gym for couple of hours and a long lie in!!!!

It's gone cloudy now :( enjoyed Body Pump I'm gonna ache tomorrow. Swim was good too not too long cos some kids got in that was my queue to leave.
I have been reading the carb cycle book and it's one day low one day high Monday to sat and eithEr day off on Sunday or one treat meal every high carb day. I won't do the treat meal I'll have the day off. Just working my way round it cos if I'm doing more weights I want to have carbs so I think I'll use the principle but do it to suit me and my training. So cardio and off days will be low and high resistance and/or weight classes will be high carb. Will see how that goes !
 
I remember way back when I was at target and I used to allow myself a day off stabilisation plan. I'd be up early and barely stop chewing from dawn to dusk! You seem much more restrained fortunately!

Ha ha jo I have just thought I'll have some chocolate but I had a glass of water and now a cuppa. Very windy dog walk nails all done time to chill!!!! Have got boundless energy today !!!!
 
Was stuffing I ate way too much fell asleep like a sloth at about half eight woke up at half nine went to bed drank a litre of water lol scales show a big gain this morning but apparently that's what this diet is all about !
B poached eggs on toast
L/d lamb shanks carrot and Swede mash roast parsnips sprouts Yorkshire puds gravy.
Ex gym in a min for cardio cos my legs and arms are killing after class yesterday !
S possibly a pear or some yoghurt.

High carb day today. Low for the next two !!!
