Welcome to Dukan

How are you all losing so much? I am sticking to this religously (attack) and not losing what i expected to lose.

My typical day is the oat bran pancake from the book and 1 small pot of natural yoghurt, lunch i will have either some chicken or burger or fish, dinner i will have either steak, chicken or fish with 2 poached eggsand yoghurt for pudding.

I drink between 2 - 4 litres of sparkling water

what am i doing wrong
 
8 crab sticks a day and if it helps I have 2 to 3 a day of muller lights vanilla and toffee only and have done since day 1 of my diet. Some stall others it does not affect, all I can say , and I'll get shot for saying it but....just try if your weight loss is affected change to 0% yoghurts and add flavourings xxx
 
Dione IM on my phone so can't see your stats, how much have you lost?
 
You need to fill in your stats so we can see your BMI to better judge where you're at weightwise, how many days have you been on the diet, how much have you lost in total so far?
 
my stats are there? Ive lost 1lb?
 
i started initially last wednesday and found out i was eating onken yoghurt which isnt allowed so i restarted on Monday sticking to my weigh day of a Thursday. I weighed Thursday and i lost 1lb?

Maybe i should just wait until next thursday for a true weigh in, what do you think?

hmm did you calculate your true weight on the dukan site? it specifies how many days attack you should follow and the amount of loss to initially expect.... 1lb seems quite low...
 
No Problem ask as many questions you want, if I were you if you started Monday weigh this Monday, make sure you eat enough also x
 
yes the Dukan website said i should be on it for 7 days and will lose 6lb :-(
 
maybe like Sid said you aren't eating enough, best to start a diary and post your daily menus up, including amounts so we can see where the problems are xx

Welcome Joanne, start a diary its a great tool, record all you eat and read your book and plan your meals be prepared is the key. Good luck x

Hi to everyone who's joined since I've been away - big welcome to the site, it's been a huge help to me - what these Dukanettes don't know about the diet just ain't worth knowing! Jx
 


After losing 5 1/2 stone on a vlcd my weight loss efforts have stalled for one reason or another. I miss food, but I still have a couple more stone to lose. I have played around with the two milkshake and a meal option of my vlcd but i found it very frustrating and then I chanced upon this diet. It seems too good to be true, but for me it would be perfect, particularly the stabilization and later phases. So here I am about to launch myself on another and I hope, last, diet journey to lose this last few pounds left. I know I will need all the support I can get and I appreciate any input you may have.

Wow, after 6 months of milkshakes you are going to LOOOVE dukan! A friend invited me and my hubby around for steak the other night, and they both looked on in amazement as I polished of the massive plate of meat. They can't understand how anyone can eat so much and still lose weight!
