Westiegirl: Restarted Day 1 Under my Belt!

Thanks Isobel and Mandy, it feels great to be employed again. I was just stagnating at home. Besides my head will be so full of new stuff to learn that SSing should be a breeze.

Well progress on the P/J saga already. P has been trying to call me and has been chatting on MSN like nothing has happened. I've told him I've left my phone at my brothers. I really don't think he gets that I'm peed off! Blummin men! I'm still ignoring him :p. He has nudged me a couple of times but I'm just being courteous!

J has been lovely. Told him that I'm not ready to meet yet and he's OK. Found out the reason is that he wants to check me out so soon is so he can book this 4x4 safari weekend for us lol. Told him what a romantic he was! The weekend is on 3rd/4th March but I can't go then anyway.
I'm hopefully going to a wedding back up in Edinburgh. It's the daughter of one of our old customers. My dad's not bothered so it will just be me and my mum. It should be nice.

Well time for my last pack - fruits of the forest I think!

Thanks Jennie, sorry you are struggling with AAM. Never had to deal with that on LL, I just know that since eating I am finding it harder to get back on track so I'm not looking forward to mine.
 
Oh whoopie!!! More good news. I was thinking about you this afternoon, and wondering how you'd got on. Isn't it wonderful when your qualities are appreciated. I remember when I cancelled a job interview because they wouldn't reschedule it so that it didn't clash with the first day of a new job I'd started. Anyway, they contacted me rescheduling the interview to a convenient time for me because I had a 'strong' application. Needless to say, I got the job, but I was amazed at the time that they had done this (being the Council and all).

I am just so pleased for you, at last things are beginning to come together after a long period of upheavel. Long may it continue.
 
Hey Sarah, well done on gettin thru today and congrats on the job as well!! Theres a lot ot be said for little companies....at least they dont expect ye to hang around for ages waiting for an answer from them!

You must have really impressed them for them to offer it to you on the spot.....go you!!!

J, bless him has said he will wait till the April 4x4 trip so I can go with him , just because it's me and he's sure I'm worth it. He asked if I had wellies because I would have to do all the dirty digging stuff as a penance for making him wait. OMG the pressure! I'm not sure I can stand it! I like him a lot but I feel like running for the hills (again). I really have to have some faith in mankind again don't I. Not all of them are gonna be like my ex and rip my heart out! Gosh what a bitter and twisted old hag I sound!

Glad you're back in the zone ref your SS'ing - it's my fifth day today and i've lost 7lbs already....

J and P sound good!! and so does the 4x4 safari - you go girl!! The first meeting is always the worst but then the world is your lobster once that's out of the way!! haha

You go girl getting the job! And as for resisting those chocs beforehand..thats an even bigger WOW...anxiety is defo my trigger..one im trying to combat! You did well!

Good luck with it all and as for the breakfast that sounds lovely...guess you could have a coffee..or maybe make it for elevensies....that way you dont have to explain not eating...im sure he'd understand anyway he sounds lovely and sweet!

Follow your heart hun, what have you to lose? Be careful though...make sure someone knows where you are etc...sorry its the cotton woolly mummy in me!x

Day 3 - New Flavours Yum!

Thanks guys for the congrats, life really is on the up! How could I be sad this afternoon when I'm doing ok on CD and Liverpool just beat Chelsea 2-0 in the footie!

I'm feeling quite chilled, got my MP3 player on listening to Jack Johnson (very cool) and Soccer Saturday footie results show on tv in the background. I have had 2 litres of water, half a vanilla pack made into coffee, a toffee and walnut muffin (yum) and I have just had my first spicy tomato soup. It was luverly! :D I make it up as usual then add a sprinkle of pysillium husks (how do you say that? in my head they are silly-mum husks) to thicken slightly and blend again for 10 seconds. Don't like it too gloopy but just a sprinkle makes it a little more substantial. I really have the feeling that I am going to go over my pack allowance today! I only have 1/2 left, but it's saturday - my hardest day. I will see how I get on and if I do have 1 extra I will not beat myself up and I will certainly not turn to food! I still have the option of a savoury drink to have as well, that always feels like an extra meal! Quick question now that I think about it, how many savoury drinks can u have on CD. I can't see it mentioned in my booklet at all. On LL it was 2 allowed a day, but did I read somewhere that on CD it's only 1? Will prob post this as a seperate thread as I think I might be having too much!

I think a little relaxation is required this afternoon. Had a late night - didn't intend to but was up until 3.30am chatting with J on MSN. He just draws me in and I don't want to stop talking! I really enjoyed our chat last night and we talked about some quite "serious" stuff. Some of it may impact on any future relationship we might have but I will have to digest that first. He's been texting me this morning. He was in Cannock looking at a boat he wants to buy to live on. Texted me to ask if I wanted to see it, if I was going to be 2nd mate. I said it was a bit far away but he said he'd come and pick me up :eek:. Told him to bugger off as I was watching the footie! Is it me or is this going quite quickly? I REALLY do him, but this morning I'm starting to get cold feet! I believe it might be just me. I wanna run for the hills again! I wish life would be simple but you just can't slot into a relationship without that awkward part at the start can you. I need to get my head around the fact of whether this is too fast or whether I will always be like this unless I just take the chance. P has also been courting me again ;). He came online on MSN last night about 2am and pleaded for me to give him another chance and that I was the only one he wanted. I let him sweat a bit but agreed we would chat today. I ain't letting him off the hook that easily! He called me today right in the middle of the footie and I sent him away with a flea in his ear *lol*. I don't think he realises the importance of footie in my life. What a saddo I am! ;)

Right off now, I'm going to read a good book I've been saving!
 
Sarah - firstly congratulations on the job - well done!!!!

As far as J goes - he sounds lovely!! Only you know when you are ready to meet up - and don't let him or anyone else push you into meeting before you are ready .... but he sounds fantastic! Love the first mate reference ... although I think you should have replied you are only interested in the post of captain!

Good luck on Monday - have a fantastic weekend - make the most of it ... no more lie ins now!!
