Hey Steph, that's great, go and post it on the weigh in thread. :bliss: :bliss:

Good Morning all.

B: Last of the BBQ left overs, 1 small 6Oz steak, 2 sausages, 3 Beef Burgers. A true Atkins Breakfast.
L: Still being good after my lost weekend. I've bought in some stew from home.
D: Pork steaks, steamed cabbage 'n' leek and steamed kale.

Steph, how do you make the mock danish? Not sure what to have today. Might have some bacon in a bit but yet again woken up not hungry. Been up since 7 and no change either. Im dropping the dogs off to the grooming place at 12 for a hair cut and will go shopping then. Will be cooking tons when i get back so who knows for today. Looking forward to a mim and an oopsie. Actually i think an oopsie pizza or burger with salad could be on my menu for dinner tonight.

Congratulations Steph - fantastic weight loss :D

Not my recipe, found it on another board.

2 oz cream cheese/Philly (2)
1 large egg, beaten (0.6)
1 packet of splenda (or 2 tsp of the granular) (1)
1/3 tsp vanilla extract (0.3)

Put cream cheese in a small microwave safe dish and microwave on high until softened (recipe says 1 minute but when I did that it exploded so I just did bursts of 10 seconds until it was a bit softer). Remove from microwave, stir in vanilla, splenda and egg, mix well. Put back into microwave and cook on high for about 2 minutes (I did mine for about 1 minute 40 seconds).

Total carbs: 3.9
Fiber: 0

It is eggy, but is really lovely! Apparently you can add a tablespoon of fiber supplement to the egg mixture before cooking to give it more of a "bready" texture, but add the carbs accordingly.

Steph

I have ( now dont laugh) 2 cockerpoos. I said dont laugh! Its sad really they were found on the 21st Dec in a bin of a kebab shop. The man was closing and hear a noise so called the police, mark went and fell in love so after a long battle they officially became ours in early Feb. We think they are now about a year old and whwn we got them they were so under weight and ill, the vets bill cost us a fortune. Both girls are healthy now and we named them Chilli and Peppa. Fitting we thought.

Oh Cherly thats wonderful (but sad). I didnt laugh - i went awwww. The lady who grooms my Hannah has just had a litter of cockerpoos :D

That's nice Cheryl, lucky dogs to have found you love.

Ahh. They are cute. From what ive heard we have had a very lucky find as they are said to be very expensive to buy. Why someone had put them in a bin is beyond me. Some people eh?

Ahhh that's so sweet! I'd do exactly the same, I've brought strays home before today. I'm a sucker for animals in distress ;) Brought home a kitten from a rescue centre 18 months ago - he is evil and hates everyone but me and I love him for it :D

is he the one who ate the pie?

i love those dogs. we had a miniture poodle but he went with my daughter kelly when she moved out last year. still see him lots. she had a special bond with him and pined for her when she wasnt here so we let her take him.
we got a bichon frise to try and replace the hole that was left but couldnt train him. always woke up and he hat poo's and wee'd everywhere. not good when i had 2 young babies who were crawling! had to rehome home him. he went to my next door neighbour so we get to see him every day :D
oh and btw, my bichon frise was pure white and i named him KILLER.
have given up with dogs till the little uns start full time school. will then get another one.

Lol. Pets. Who'd have them?
We had a bit of a problem "adopting" them as Mark was called to them while at work so we had to write letters to the super and inform all the usual, vets, dogs loss places and wardens. The original owner can still come forward to claim them but the fact they were in a bin and mistreated goes in our favour. They would have to take us to court now and a judge prove who has provided for them better. I think we all know who that is. I wont put them in a big industrial bin thats for sure.

LOL Vicky, no that was my other cat who ate the pie. The rescue cat is so overweight he can't get on the work top - perhaps as well or he'd have burst by now! I can't get weight off him no matter what I do, he just scavenges everywhere! I chased him round the house with half an easter egg in his mouth at Easter that he pinched from the kids bedroom! Must stem from being near dead in a gutter when he was found  I shall persevere with him though as it's not good for them to be overweight - think I'll put him on a cat version of Atkins :D

Killer. Lol. Our girls are white with apricot ears and peppa has it on her back but very light so we have to have different colour collars to tell which one which
