Thx bren

Just tried to buy a tuna salad and they are loaded with carbs! Finally got one from M&S which has pasta and carrots in that I'm going to have to eat around.

Also heard this morning that my new contract finishes today! They are supposed to give a week's notice but I can't be bothered arguing the toss - but, as all my friends say, what a bunch of b*******s...(the CEO has hired a PR firm run by a mate, so I anticipated that this would happen).

So, am consoling myself (actually I'm not that bothered, got an interview on Tuesday) with an Atkins chocolate brownie bar :)

PS - technical issue, how do you post other people's posts into your mail to respond to them, like you did with mine? My "Quote message in reply" button won't let me select it.

Buggger on the job - not nice! Good luck with the interview xx

I just hit the quote button at bottom of post I want to quote  and it brings it up

oooooooooppppps - was at the pub last night and after lots of alcohol I helped the missus with a tray of chips...........ah well.

Away for the weekend and it's wasn't as tricky as I was expecting. Ate a lot of steak and plain lettuce - had single serving sachets of zero carb dressing from the megastore which saved my life on a number of occasions. Breakfast was fine too, and some cheese or nuts in the middle of the day and we were good to go! Not putting everything down here verbatim, will just start from today again.

I like those Black Farmer Sausages, but does anyone else find the skins are very tough?

Oooooo forgot to tell you - I actually tried some black pudding with my all day brekkie on Sunday and ate it all - think my tastes are changing somewhat!

Newbies menu!

Hello,

Have been looking through your posts and such for a few weeks now since I have started low carbing it. I'm following the Dr Charles Clark plan (like Atkins, but allows for a few more carbs). Been doing ok - just think I have drank too much milk and this is why I have only lost 6lb in 4 weeks. Great, but thought I would lose more. Have adjusted it and hopefully will see a difference next week when I weigh in again.

Anyhow - just wanted to say hello and introduce myself and say that you guys are very inspirational:)

Todays menu for me is:
B-Chunky chargrilled chicken with melted cheese and tomato slices
L - Low carb chili w/cheese and sour cream
D - Chicken leg, salad, steamed cabbage w/butter
S - Milano salami slices, choc peanut butter mousse - YUM! Have the recipe if you don't already have it:)

Anyhow - thats me!

Nikki

PS - Any suggestions for peoples fave MIMS? Haven't tried this yet - but sounds proper yummy!:)
