I'm going to attempt to make homemade need burgers tonight, slimming works chips done in Actifry with mushrooms and sweetcorn. Can anyone tell me how many syns in flour? I use a tablespoon for two burgers just to hold the mince together?
I've never done burgers but my dad said to use the flour to hold them together. Do you use egg to bind them together?I've never needed to use flour to hold the burgers together. I think it's 1 syn per level tablespoon but I'm not 100% sure on that. Sent from my C1905 using MiniMins.com mobile app

I'm working and won't be be home till after half 6 so I wouldn't have time to leave them in the fridge. The mince is in the fridge now, will it make much of a difference if they are just made into burgers and cooked straight away? You really don't need flour to hold them together, and the egg is only necessary if you add breadcrumbs, but again, you don't need the breadcrumbs either (I think this is a hangover from people trying to bulk up a meal). Make your burgers in advance of you cooking them and throw them in the fridge or freezer for a few hours before cooking. You don't want to cook them from frozen, but if they are cold they seem to firm up and the cold makes them hold their shape while the outside cooks. Once the outside is sealed your burger is safe from falling apart. Your burgers should hold together just fine if you do as you say and mix the beef and onions. Add loads of herbs and spices for flavour, or even some Worcester sauce.

How long would do them in the oven?I always make mine when I come home and then just put them straight in the oven. I just add some mixed italian herbs and some Worcestershire sauce and that's it. Never had them fall apart on me. Tonight I'm having Linda McCartney sausages with homity pie and broccoli.
Hi minis do you know if these are the 1/3 syn sausages??
