Wii Fit & "Gaming Exercise" Challenge - January 2011

The free cycle is the one with the balloons / beach balls all dotted around. You don't have to seach for them if you don't want to but there there as they add another dimention to that level.

The free cycle (which is the 30 mins course) is the one where you can go where you want and do what you want, and yes (as I just found out) thats the one where you can unlock the new bike, just go to the beach and the waters edge and uncovered the shaded bits that are shown. You don't need to go to far into the sea (if you do then the cyclist kinda sinks/drowns)

I have been to all other parts of the map so the sea front and parts of the beach area where the only bits remaining I had to uncover.

Just look at the small map in the circle which you can enlarge by pressing 1 on the wii mote and you should be able to better see which parts of the beach you still need to uncover...

Going to up my time for next month, but going to up it slowly each month over the year, rather then just going from say 10hrs too 40hrs or something silly, as that would really de-motivate me seeing that I had to do so many hours in one month after only doing 10 in January lol

Anyway enough of my ramblings, hopefully I can get 30 mins done today (might try chatting to my hubby while doing the free cycling again made time fly by last time I did it when he was home)

No probs at all zebredy, I love doing the threads and really enjoy working out too, I agree that it makes things so much easier to have this thread and have some exercising buddies and somewhere to chat and share hints and tips :)

You've all been great this month and I've just made the new thread so I'll link it for you all.

Your upping of your hours sounds like a sensible way to do it to me and I'm doing the same :) We're all gonng be looking good for summer I'm telling ya :D

Hi, I have just seen that zumba is coming out on the wii in march, I've heard that zumba is a good workout, does anybody know anything much about it. Thinking about pre-ordering it from play.com.
 
Hi amandas, I do the zumba workout on dvd at home & it is absolutely fantastic,really gets the heart rate up & because you're dancing you don't feel like you are doing a workout as such,although I can't say what it will be like on the wii,but if it's anything like the zumba dvd then it will be fantastic!! Hope that helps!?

Shifty - go for it, I will be putting my hours down soon too. Just dance for the wii has just arrived, will be giving that a go from Monday. If I get on all right with it I might give the zumba a go.
 
ive been doing the expert course about 3 imes and i give up like half way through.. the most ive got is 14 n im pooped lol! so my goal tonight is to get all 20 of the flags no matter how long it takes me!! x
 
how long did it take you guys?? I seem to get 14 pretty easily and then i get stuck... theres one in that big cirlce cave on the map..but then theres 2 that looks like there in the cave but there not & i cant get them!xx
 
Oh fantastic..
Just need to work out how many hours I will be able to fit in without over or under estimating,mind you febs a pretty easy month to work out with it having 28 days lol
Plus I'm hopefully starting a couple of swimming or gym sessions a week after Monday,I'm going to see the beep practicioner on Monday,so hopefully tues or wed I should be doing that little bit more!
I'm just feeling really positive that things seem to be going in the right direction at the moment, I'm eating so much better,thanks to me doing the SW plan for the last 3 weeks,I'm walking at least 30mins a day,doing wii fit,a bit of zumba & hopefully like I said the gym or swimming (although I do hope it's the gym as I don't know if I feel confident enough to let strangers see me nearly naked)!! And the help on this forum has been absolutely invaluable to me,I've got so many fantastic tips!!
