Hey Jim... glad to hear it. How was the park with yr gorgeous little one? Did you manage to escape any rain? We've not had any yet. Yesterday we heard thunder & saw black cloouds pass by either side of us while we bbq'd in brilliant sunshine!

Need to get my focus back today... carbs have been taking control of my eating & its needs to stop & today is that day! One day at a time for me this week. xx

no thats this weekend :) well she comes up on thursday after lunch so ive said we arent being naughty until friday so im making chicken kebabs for tea and friday will be chicken vodka pizza no doubt and saturday ill be roasting a chicken to have with salad. there will be a LOT of drink involved all weekend though. Will be back on attack on sunday!
 
Ok rant coming!!!

Just got back from seeing my nurse as I needed more blood tests. Asked her about my cholesterol & the fact it had sent me off track by having to up my carbs & drop my fat... well my cholesterol had actually dropped from before starting Atkins..

Dec 09 was 6.5, last tests were 6.0 so they weren't as high as 8 which is what I was told & isn't 5.2 within normal ranges so I'm not far off that!!

So back to what I know & love best Atkins!! All this faffing about & struggling this past month had completely thrown me off track but now I know that what I was doing was working on every level for me!!

Hoo'bloomin'ray I can now focus again. xx

Good for you Linz, back to Atkins, yay.

The weekend war very good love, We had lovely weather until late on Sunday, when it pissed down. Olivia was awed by all the crowds, she was very quiet and looking around her. LOL. Max behaved himself, didn't even want to play with other dogs, again I expect it was the crowds. The BBQ yesterday went well and I enjoyed a few G&T's and let the boys get on with the grilling, everyone was very stiff from the day before, made me laugh :D

Tell you Jim it feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders... I should have more faith in what I was doing & that it was working for me! How could she not tell me that my cholesterol had actually dropped!???!

Sounds fab Jim... I love watching little ones watching the world.. it must be amazing that everything is so brand new!

We had a family BBQ yesterday too... can't beat it can you! xx

Thanks Vicky... I feel like a big weights been lifted. I'm going to keep an eye on my calories too, just b'coz I want too but I am very pleased... Atkins just suits me on every level, health wise & socially.

Think I will still have my fruit & yogurt for breakfast as I love it & will count it into my carbs... headaches on its way but thats a good thing!

Hope I get a good loss this month after a month of putting on & succumbing to carbs!

dukan says its the protein. its real yacky :( boo to making food taste rubbish too.

good job im not seeing him tonight ;) dogs will have to cope with it. f they start turning their nose up then its deffo bad lol
