Thursday 1st July

*couch to 5k, w3d2 - struggled today - it was raining and i was running into it :mad:

B- banana. branflakes & s.s milk

*small nectarine (it looked like a plum but the label said nectarine lol)

L- baked turkey breast, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoe, sweetcorn & chickpeas. lf salad cream.

D- apple, clemintine & lf yog.

*1litre water
*250ml dilutable sug free squash
*2 black coffee & sweetener

Sorry if this is too much info girls but my toe is still sore so i took the polish off it just now and the top half of my nail is 'dead' so have trimmed it and the bottom half is bruised. Have just been reading up about it and its caused from my toes banging into the front of my trainer when running. Showed my little bro who runs alot and he has given me some proper socks to wear and told me cotton socks arent enough and don't tie my trainers too tight as my foot swells when running. I didnt know that. So been reading about it and it's guna take a few months to 'heal' but hopefully now with the better socks and losening of my trainers it will start to get better. Tomorrow will tell :fingerscrossed:

oh Tanya, poor you! Hopefully it will recover quickly....similar thing happened to me, dont think it was my trainers, not sure what it was, but I had bled under the nail and it didnt actually recover until the nail had grown completely...around 6 months!! Nightmare! So, I do sympathise...thicker socks will help I am sure....just keep watching, I still reckon your trainers are a little too small for you hence why it is bashing against your toe!! bless........when not in them, let the air get at them!!

Looks good on the food sweetie.
 
Oh talking about toenails gives me the creeps!!! I have a total thing about nails and dread anything happening them. I think it is a childhood thing. I remember my brother getting his hand caught in the car door and he lost three nails. I can still hear him cry!!!!!!
Anyway, poor Tan, after making the effort to start running and for that to happen you. Methinks the fates conspire against you girl!!
 
Iris, im always bare feet in the house, walk around in flipflops and i never ever wear socks unless its winter or im running!

Fate it is! But im not giving it up - fate can kiss my bum! :giggle:

Friday 2nd July

*4 cherries

L- grilled pork chop, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoe, sweetcorn, chickpeas. LF salad cream.

D- apple, 3strawberries, 8green grapes & ww rasp yog over the top.

*1 litre water
*2 black cofees with sweetener

Grandma bought me a punnet of raspberries today as she knows i love them! :heartpump: So will factor them into tomorrow. Mum also bought me a fruit bowl yesterday at work hence the strawbs and grapes in my dinner. Theres only about 4 strawberries and a tiny bunch of grapes.

Did my week 3 day 3 of couch to 5k today. I really struggled with my breathing so im contemplating repeating week 3 but not 100% sure yet!

Mmmmm looks georg!! It's hard to tell without knowing the size of the plate. I don't think I personally could lose whilst having quite so many chick peas or so much sweetcorn but we're all different, I'm a lot older too and if it's working for you - don't change it! :) xx
 
I don't feel hungry jan but I was worried about that too. It's 100g of each. Have to see what the scales say Monday! :eek:

Bf has decided he's having a few drinks tomorrow..... I have to be strong and resist!!!! :giggle:
 
Your plate looks a tad full, pet, if you are trying to lose. From a GL point of view, the portion of chickpeas is o.k but sweetcorn should be a lot less, plus you should have no mayo, low fat or otherwise!! I've gotten used to having it very rarely now, at least till I lose another 14lbs. Like Jan, I'm older than you so have to work harder at losing.See how your weigh in goes. Hope the tootsies are feeling better!

My toe is grand today. Nowhere near as much pain as usual. Gota thank the little bro for the socks and tips! :giggle:

Im not strictly doing GL molly but as thats my one meal a day i think its pretty ok. It doesnt leave me hungry and i have it around 8 and then im up untill 6am with just a piece of fruit (most of the time).

Im looking forward to monday - even if its just 1lb i'll be happy :)

Saturday 3rd July

B- bran flakes & s.s milk

L- baked salmon, lettuce, cucumber & tomato. sweet chilli sauce.

D- bean chilli made with haricot beans, black eyes beans, red kidney beans, tinned toms & ground spices. Dollop of guacamole.

*ww strawb yog.
*apple. handfull raspberries.

*1.5litre water
*1black coffee & sweetener
*250ml diet coke

Edit: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! struggling!! The bf is having a few bevvies - i want one! :sigh: Afterall its the weekend?!!!!!!!!!!!! :giggle:

3 tins of beans, 3 tins of chopped toms later .... looks like im having bean chilli for the rest of the week!!! :rotflmao:

drat, I just did a big reply and I lost it!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh....anyway, food looking good as is the running! Well done sweetie.
I would say the same about the sweetcorn too, but you know what me and carbs are like and that silly fear I have of them!!!
 
Ok guys - I shall reduce the sweetcorn :D Can't fault you guys!

WOW! Just had my bean chilli - hot hot! Put a little too much hot chilli powder in. So had half the bowl with a tbsp of guacamole. Just been and bought some low fat greek yogurt in prep for when i have it tomorrow to cool it down! :eek: Next time i wont be so spice happy! :giggle:

So far i have resisted the booze. The bf has just ordered himself dominos pizza so doubt he will be having much more to drink so think i can safely say im through without booze on a saturday night! :party0049:

Sure hope so! 6days of being 'good' ... i feel good for it. I don't feel hungry with it so can't be bad! :giggle:
