Indeed exciting news :) And lol about the Liverpool marathon- Tan are you going to get the marathon bug?!

It is a big step and one we've spoke about for a while but have only recently put the plans in to get saving. Which is why i'm having 2 holidays this year as from september onwards its all save save save and no spend spend spend :( lol It wont be untill atleast 2013 though, by the time we save a hefty deposit!

Weighed in today and i've lost 0.5lbs. Must must try harder this week - although with going out saturday and the day after munchies who knows.

Thursday 12th May

Penultimate long, slow run done today and week 18 under my belt!

10.1 miles today in 2:02:21 giving me a pace of 12:06min p/mile. I think im ok with that. I slowed down alot because of the pain in the back of my knee. That pace would bring me in in the 1/2 at 2:38:48. I think i'd be ok with that :confused:

Looking back the first time I ran over 10miles was week 16 where I had 4 days of rest before the long run in which I did 10.73miles in 2:04:33. I think this might have to be done next week and race week - thats probably how much rest my body needs for me to get a good time on a long run.

I am a little dissapointed as i got a great 5miler time on monday and the pace has shot up by a minute per mile - I guess thats to be expected with long runs right?

The first 3miles today were tough. The only thing that kept me going today was Nan. I asked her to push me, which she sure did :) She'd be proud no matter what time I ran the race in :cool:

So, one more long slow run before the 1/2. This is scary & exciting stuff.

Again, another long ramble about another long run. Not many left guys, thanks for sticking with me!!!! :eek: xx
 
Well done on getting through the run. Hope that knee holds up until the big day. Keep plugging away at it.
 
I've only got 4 runs left untill race day im sure it'll hold out :D :fingerscrossed:

Forgot to add earlier, i only had 2 energy gels today. Didn't take one before setting off as i had porridge and from mondays run I knew i'd be ok for atleast 5miles without it but I took one at the 4mile mark and again at the 7mile mark.

Also just wanted to say about you and Stevie..........it will be amazing hun!! Honestly I just love living with my bf, waking up beside him, seeing him each day, getting to snuggle on the sofa :) love it!
 
hahahah not a chance!! I've already decided, if we an afford it, its going to be a 2bedroomed place and 3/4 nights of the week were sleeping apart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im not even joking lol x

So with you Tan! Since we have got a spare room our relationship is so much better! I snore really loud and talk in my sleep so N has somewhere to escape. Also great for when we are doing different shifts because he has the spare room and family bathroom and then I've got the bedroom and en-suite. Was also great when my knee was bad as he always tries to cuddle me in the night and it was too painful. And anyway with Stevies drunken antics at least you can send him to the spare room!!!

We have 3 bedrooms, Jack is in one, us in the other that has an en suite and then a spare bedroom.

Once or twice we've taken a turn sleeping in the spare room........usually when Jack decides to climb in between us lol xx

Other than that I cant go asleep without him in the bed!!
 
Brilliant t!!

Why? Cuz I love the specialness of our weekends together now, we spend sat,sun nights together and I always look forward to getting into bed on a Saturday morning and cuddling up and having it every night will lose the specialness. And our sleeping is alot different. I'll come home from work & go straight to bed but he'll stay up for a couple hours. (now I sound soppy!!! Lol)

And yeah, no drunken antics!!!! :rotflmao:
 
Hun I said exactly the same thing when we first moved in together but I promise it never loses it specialness :) You'll see ;) xx
 
I love your rambles about your runs so don't be daft about them!

I sleep FAR better when I'm in the bed on my own - no chance of sending him off to the spare room though - he wouldn't go and he'd be very hurt if I went so I guess I'll have to work nights for the rest of my life so I get some days in bed on my own LOL. xx

Mum came home from darts last night and won some weight watchers cookies - chocolate & raisen and lemon & currant. The lemon ones are delish - had a pack last night in work and some again this morning. 86cals for 2 biccies :rolleyes:

Knee is sore today, it's more of ache and feels like it's been pulled. Not running till Monday so hopefully it eases.

Friday 13th May

B- 2sm slices wm toast, buter, 2xww biccies, orange juice (349)

L- salmon wellington & vegetables (448)

*home made whoopie pie (??? don't think i really wana know lol)
