♥ ~ Tanya's Maintainence Diary ~ Year 2 ~♥

Uh oh - I am mad. I have just bought (well I say bought, its awaiting stock) Jillian Michaels 30 day shred dvd. Heard nothing but good reviews about it .... Jan, I know what youre guna say "good reviews about a exercise dvd - not possible" :giggle:

That should keep me focused on the exercise once the 1/2 is complete. I'm still keeping up with the running though - not letting that one dwindle!

Also just bought myself a new camera - a tough one. Waterproof & shock proof and I went and bought 3 new dresses yesterday - summer ones for the holiday and a new bag and flip flops.

This weekend has officially made me poor! :rotflmao: x

You might be poor but at least you've got nice things ;) :) xx

Yup!!! I do work for these nice things - I think the money that I have just put in for (claiming for shift allowance) will just about cover what I bought so happy days :)

And ohhh yeah brother is sorted now. He wants money anyways so he can buy a new bigger shinier watch (what are marines like with their watches?!!!!) and a crate of beer and he's happy lol

xxx

Sorted! :D xx

I've got the 30 day shred - it's good only 20mins workout but u small intervals of cardio, abs and strength.. U will need a gym mat and small weights (but I used tins on beans lol) x

Wow. I needed that sleep. I have slept for well over 12 hours  I think I fell asleep around 11 last night, I woke at 8:30 cuz I knew I had to go for a run today but I thought naaaaaaaaaaaah more sleep :giggle: Eventually got up at 12:30 so off for my run in a little while.

Knee is much better today. No twinging when I got out of bed so :fingerscrossed: for todays run. I have said to myself the minute it starts to hurt i'm turning around and coming back. I don't want to risk anything right now.

My brother has also told me to get the cod liver oil down me, he said the liquid form is quicker working but tablets are ok too. He has showed me a couple of stretches designed just for the knees too as he suffers with knee problems so will add them into my routine :)

Had a bloody fantastic run today :)
I'm exstatic got a new personal best for a 5miler. Did it today in 55mins29secs which means a pace of 11:05mins per mile.

My knee was fine the only problem I had was when I had to step up onto a kurb that was pretty high.

Im not sure whether im looking for excuses to eat bread in the week but whilst running got thinking that I always do a really good run when I have eaten decent meals, inc bread on a weekend. Obv the weekends where I go mad and binge on crisp and chocolate do no good and i've noticed that too. But yesterday I ate really well and today I had a fab run and ran the 5miles with just water, no energy gels or drinks.

Might introduce bread in the week this week and see how my run goes on thursday and might even try running straight off on my long run without an energy gel but still take them with me.

Well done on ur personal best Hun x

Well done on your personal best :D - soooo glad you're feeling 'up' about things again AND that the knee seems to be behaving itself.

Good plan re the food - it's all a Biiiiiiig learning curve isn't it??!!!

I still think you're doing brilliantly though - I really do! xx

The bf has some ww wraps here so might have one of them with some ham & lettuce :hmm:

Mmmmmmm sounds good. Think I'm beginning to miss carbs a bit  xx

When are you planning on introducing them again? Do you feel ready to?x

Naw - not yet. I want to lose another few lbs and then introduce them in a refeeding kind of way.

I'm off to bed in a sec - up early to go & mind the little 'uns tomorrow xx

Ah ideal :)
Well night night, sweet dreams. Enjoy tomo with the boys xx

Well done on the personal best time, fantastic! Glad your knee was OK too. Sounds as though the plan for bread is a good one.

I've got to get and sponsor you before your run yet. I will do that in a couple of weeks when hubby has been paid, promise!! There's no way I couldn't sponsor you. To think how far you've come on your journey and now running a half marathon, totally inspirational and what an achievement.

Well done on your PB hun! You seem to be taking it all in your stride! hehehehe!
