Well :fingerscrossed: he will see sense. If not aslong as you know (and I'm sure you do) that you tried your best for your kids :) it's sad that he doesn't want to be a part of their life but there's nothing more you can do.

Well done on your new personal best time Tanya, fantastic! Your half marathon is on my daughter's 19th birthday! Will definitely be thinking of you on that day!
 
Well done on ur run tanya - the bootcamp I'm going to do a running class I'm starting it next week cos you've inspired me to give running a try..

Can't wait to hear how the big day goes :)

Jan, question - I did that thing last night before I went to sleep but I was the one that fell. Does that make a difference? Should it have been the other person?

Mmmm that tortellini sounds nice :)

Doesn't matter a bit hon .... in fact .. I'd suggest that shows that rather than YOU holding on to them, they've been holding on to you (mentally, emotionally, spiritually - whatever) and last night you gave yourself permission to not allow it to continue. I'd say it's all good :D xx

Sat here in work daydreaming about a White baguette with hp sauce, sausages, bacon & melted cheese all over the top :drool:

Well Tanya, just over a week left to your half marathon chick - remember all those months ago, I wonder if you could ever truly visualise yourself where you are now - you know how proud we all are of you, just like part of a big family now.

Good luck in getting closure with your little problem at the moment, I am sure all will work out well in the end.
 
I did that thing again last night and again I was the one who fell back. Starting to feel a little better about it - there is absolutly nothing I can do to find out exactly what happened but if this is working before I go to sleep i'm more than happy. Seems silly that after 8years its come back to me again and made me think about it all but hey ho.

Listened to a brilliant podcast last night guys. Jillian Michaels show but she had Bob Harper on. Aaaaaaaannnnnndddd get this!!! The very last 10mins or so of it the 2nd caller phoned and asked "i've lost a lot of weight and kept it off for 2 years but i'm wondering will the fear of putting it all back on ever go away? all i do is constantly think i cant have that but i can have that"

Bob & Jillian both laughed and said "join the club!" ... there was a whole big conversation about it but the jist of it all was that even them, as personal trainers still watch what they eat, still fear putting on weight. Bob did say over time the fear will subside but it will probably always be there. A little comfort knowing 2trainers feel the same as us guys!

Thursday 19th May

I find closure is such a funny thing. These things spring up at such funny times I don't really understand it. Glad you feel like your getting somewhere though x
 
Thanks chick. Thats 2weeks in a row i've lost. Not very much but atleast its in the right direction.

Need to lose 9lbs to get me just back into the 11s. Hopefully I can do that before holiday :fingerscrossed:

Going onto 2meal bars & 1meal starting from the 1st june but still going to run. So if I do runs over 5/6 miles then i'm going to have 2meals (one of which will be porridge for breakfast for my run). Got a wedding on the 7th, plenty of alcohol & 3course meal so that day i'll have off too. But hopefully but the 24th/25th i'll be in the 11s. If not somewhere pretty close :D
 
Fab news on the loss. That is fantastic to be losing right up to the race day. You are doing great.
 
Yep you really are doing great :) well done on the loss - all adding up to what you want in the end!

I'm glad you're finding that technique useful. You may well be feeling that those 'ties that bind' are thinner and/or weaker and easier to cut/break every time you do it. You'll soon feel okay about it and will know what to do should it ever come back to bother you again (doubtful).

I initially felt relief and pleased at what you said about the fit trainers also living in fear of regaining weight ... Then I thought 'crumbs! No hope for me to ever be comfy with it then!' ;) :D Ah well - I'd still rather be where I am now!! xx
