Tuesday 21st June

*6mile bike ride 44:18

B- 3eggs scrambled with 9slices wafer thin honey roast ham. 15g honey bbq sauce. 100ml pure oj.

L- dry pan fried turkey breast with garlic, lettuce, cucumber, cherry toms, left over broad beans from yesterday, elf salad cream.

*100g raspberries, 10green grapes, 2cherries, 4strawberries

D- meal bar

Just munched some fruit. So much for limiting the carbs! :rolleyes:
 
I think I'd be leaving off that exercise till after the hols now hon - with that rest and just some swimming whilst away I bet it'll be all better by the time you're back :) xx
 
But I don't want to build my fitness up from nothing again :( :( :( x

I agree swimming is a really good work out - I also hate going to the pool when it's full of kids!
 
I just don't like getting water on my face and kids splash too much and get in my way :giggle:
 
I think if you do as much swimming as you can on hols, you wont lose that much fitness anyway. Your fitness is at such a good level at the mo, it will take a lot of rest to lose it. You are very fit now, you aren't going to lose that overnight.

Don't go beating yourself up about having to rest your knee, the doc says to do it, so do as you're told and rest it. Enjoy your holiday and look forward to getting back to running when you return.

It wont take you long to get back into the running as before, you are determined and will do it easily.
 
Bev's absolutely right - you won't be starting from scratch. Have you tried wearing goggles for swimming? Helps with the splashing no end. xx
 
haha you will laugh at me now .... I can't wear goggles as they rest on my eyelashes and bend them :rotflmao: I'm aware how vain that sounds btw lol

Shift this evening, finally :)

Going to be a long day today as i've got to stay up after work as Stevie has the doc's at 9am. I'm always hungry when I finish work but I go straight to bed so its fine but today i've got to stay up ... what can I have?!!!

Infact this whole week is going to be funny along with staying up tonight after work i've got another shift thursday evening so will only grab maybe 6hours sleep, friday i'm getting up early got lunch with my friend then going back to bed in the evening so me and stevie can stay up all day saturday as i've got nails in the morning then got to go town then were going for lunch and drinks then it'll be home to bed probably 4/5pm lol then up early sunday for breakfast somwhere then on the road.

In between all of this i've got to try and find a decent day to wi on :confused:

Wednesday 22nd June

B- 3eggs scrambled with 1slice mature cheddar cheese broken into it and 4baby plum toms quartered and thrown in too.

L- tin tuna, lettuce, cucumber, cherry toms, elf salad cream, tsp pickle.

*banana
*handful salted peanuts
*handful cheerios
*5minstrels

D- meal bar

*after work: biiiiig bowl of special k (70g) with s.s milk
6slices of wafer thin ham dipped into the jar of garlic mayo
aaaannnnn a couple finger scoops of lf hummous
oh and another handfull of salted peanuts

You're beginning to sound like me, here there and everywhere and wondering how, where and when to fit things in!

Can you just have some protein in the morning? A bit of cooked meat or an egg or sommat?

I KNEW you were going to say that about your eyelashes! LOL!

Not sure I can do this low carbing thing. I can cut out breads and pastas etc but i need my fruit & veg. I can't go without it. Hence, I scoffed a banana right after my whoofed down lunch as i'm pushed for time.

Will be having my meal bar a bit later on this evening as i've only just had my lunch so maybe that will keep me going untill bed in the morning. If not i'm afraid I might have to have a bowl of special k with ice cold milk :drool:

I'm already panicking about my holiday weight gain :( I reckon its guna be atleast a stone :cry: Then its the hard work, getting it off and I can't even go back to tfr cuz of wanting to get out and run again. I'm guna have to go hardcore calorie counting including alcohol!!! :eek:

Theres me complaining already about holiday gain and what do I do.... Scoff a handful of salted peanuts and a handful of cheerios before going out the door for work!!!!! Idiot.

I am feeling really down about it all again this evening, the constant battle with food is getting on my t*ts! Why can't I just eat what I want and be skinny?!!!! :rolleyes:

Just cleaned my teeth so no more picking.
 
It's a real bind sometimes isn't it hon! I know exactly how you feel and what you mean. I think the source of your discontent at the mo isn't so much to do with the actual food as the enforced limitation on your exercise which is manifesting as 'picking' and feeling out of control.
Bite the bullet re getting splashed - maybe even forgo the eyelashes till later in the day (I know that will be difficult BUT! .....) and do loads of swimming which will help limit your holiday gain AND make you feel better about yourself.... Just a thought.

I actually had to sit on my hands last night to stop myself taking a chip off John's plate before my meal arrived - I'm really trying to get back to that place of not being bothered but it ain't easy :(

On holiday I don't wear mascara in the day, it runs off me with the sweat (sorry if tmi) so I can swim. I'll just splash the little sods back lol

Over in the runnersforum they've said it's going to be harder mentally to rest than it will be physically when you come back to running. They are so right.

B- special k, s.s milk

L- tin tuna, boiled egg, lettuce, cucumber, cherry toms, elf salad cream

*2choc hobnobs
*1slice soreen with butter

Good for you!

BTW - I meant to say earlier - if you're low-carbing and not NO carbing you're fine with your fruit & veg .. okay bananas are a bit carby but better than a plateful of pasta!! I'm having loads of salad and veg - not fruit so much but still, Im not NO carbing. xx
 
Yup really can't do without salad,veg & occasional fruit.

Tonight was faaaaaab!! Got so many jobs. Except a snide remark made over the radio as to why '2specials were dealing with X incident and not a more appropriate unit' ..... Jumped up swine!!!

Edit for food today is 2hobnob biccies & a slice of soreen with butter.

Edit 2: munched a slice of pork liver sausage & 1cracker with pork liver pate when I got home from work

Sooooo today is going to be a bit weird. Got up at 11:30 got a lunch date with my friend, im not actually taking anything to eat just going to see her in her lunch hour at work then back home, couple of beauty bits to do then off for my eyebrow wax (not getting legs & arms done now, I dont have enough hairs on my legs :giggle: and I can't justify the money for my arms really) then back to bed as after work we're staying up all day saturday.

So, I think when I get home from work i'll class it as the start of a new day and have breakfast..... does that seem like the best thing to do? Then were going to have lunch with drinks in town so then I imagine i'll be home and in bed by about 6pm then its up early to get ready, go for breakfast somewhere and then hit the road!!!!!!!!!!!! :party0049: :character00255::gen157::character00238:

I think i'm going to weigh myself sunday morning. I didn't want to get on the scales today after only 4.5hours sleep so even though it'll be drinks and a nice lunch somewhere i'll bite the bullet sunday :eek:

Oh, dad bought me a pasty yesterday but I didn't have it but am going to have it today :p

Friday 24th June

B- cheerios, skimmed milk, 100ml pure oj and a choc hobnob (damn things!!)

*cracker with pate & slice pork liver sausage
*packet hula hoops

*back to bed :p

L- pasty with hp sauce!!!

*2triangles toblerone
*kipling vienesse whirl

D- banana for work
