Sounds like u had a lovely time!! Did u like playa blanca? Was there much night life or did u stay in the hotel most of the time x
 
Sounds wonderful Tanya, and it seems like you made some really good choices there. The kit kat sounds divine.
 
Playa Blanca was lovely - we were a 15min walk to where the shops and bars were but we didn't go there for a night out. What hotel is it you're staying at again?

Forgot to also say one night alcohol was full of sangria and beer as we went on a wild wild west night and those were the free choices.

Gosh the time flew by, can't believe you are back already. Great to hear you had a fab time and did your best foodwise.
 
I want to be back there so much - ive full on got the holiday blues :( I keep looking at the time thinking what we'd be doing back there.

Still, got a 10.5hr shift to keep me occupied tomorrow, 7am start but I have to be at my station for 6am ... guna be a killer!

Next holiday is 30th August to Lara Beach! :) Then thats the last one (unless we get a cheap late deal at some time) for a fair few years :(
 
Sounds like you had a great time hon :D and didn't do too bad at all foodwise! You've got to enjoy yourself - that's what it's all for in the longrun isn't it!?!

I hear what you're saying about the next one probably being the last for a few years, so make the most of it, but remember you're going to be building a whole new life for you & Stevie and that's far more important and far-reaching than a few days in the sun. :) xx
 
Yes, and i sure did enjoy it.

Talking of deserts with Jan on fb reminds me ... me and stevie shared desert on a lunch/dinner time and was a 2inch square of cake with a scoop or two of ice cream. And there was also the odd croissiant/pastry with my breakfast. Breakfast was always the biggest meal of the day whilst away.
Also had the odd bit of melon and pineapple.

Today has been very long and very boring. There was a big operation going on down here so thought i'd get a bit of action but we got stuck in a van all day with only one job taking us 5mins, we did get free breakfast/packed lunch/dinner ... I only had the packed lunch though. But the cheek of it ... after arriving at 06:40 and being stood down at 16:45 they then wanted us specials to stay on and wait untill the regs had eaten their dinner and clear away tables and chairs in the briefing rooms .... sod that, i may 'only be' a special but i'm certainly not a skivvy so after clearing it with someone higher I eventually finished at 17:00.

Chilling out now with wine and nibbles.

Will probably go back to documenting food tomorrow or monday :)

It's not nice to treat the specials as lesser beings. Well done for sticking with it Tan.

Last night I was shattered. I was drinking my wine and falling to sleep!! I had 2/3rds then crashed on the sofa before 10, stevie bought down my quilt and pillow then at 1am I woke up trodded off to bed and stayed there untill 11 this morning!!!! :eek:

Back to tracking food :eek:
Back to running tuesday also - quite looking forward to it might sit and plan it out as with 3weeks off i'm guna have to start small again I think :rolleyes:

Sunday 10th July

B- 2slices wm toast, 1with butter 1 with peanut butter

*handful of doritos
*3chunks of dairymilk caramel
*2squares of dairy milk
*2 'bad boy peanut butter squares' (these are made with special k, coconut, golden syrup, sugar, peanut butter & covered in melted chocolate .. i hate to think of the cals!!!)

L- roast: 2roast pots, spoon of mash, spoon of cauliflower cheese, mixed veg, 1yorkshire, 1/2 chicken leg, gravy.

*scoop of clotted cream & honeycomb ice cream for afters

*4chips that mum cooked for dad

*Tonight = gin & d.lemonades

Back to reality tomorrow :cry:
 
Drooling over some of the things you've had today!

In some ways shame to be back to reality tomorrow but at the same time you'll probably feel good to be back on the straight and narrow :) .... hope the scales don't give you too much of a shock! ;) xx
 
Oh I'm expecting at least a stone if not more!!! Going to weigh in on Friday so should get a decent 4days under my belt. Although Monday's are always hard as it's such a long day as in usually up early.

I have decided to calorie count though, dropping my bmr cals by 1000.
 
1000? Gosh that sounds like a lot! But I'm sure you know what you're doing xx
 
That gives me 1,200odd cals a day (know for certain when I weigh in) ... And should lose me 2lbs a week. I'm uncertain on days I exercise whether to still eat to my daily allowance though?!!! X
 
I don't really know hon - can the runner's forum help with that? Have you looked on the exercise bit of this one?? xx
 
Nope not yet I will tomorrow, might post on the rf tomorrow :) that's an idea xx
 
Oh edit to the menu: tried the cream cracker challenge... 3in under 1minute, drastic failure I did it in 1:31.5 :( lol

Could've had a choc biscuit for that lol x
