Nope, I am hating being at home and hating being back at work and hating night shifts :( x
 
Life's too short to hate lol. So it's love being home, love work and love night shifts!!! Lol. Holiday blues are a bummer aren't they?
 
Nope, I love every other part of my life right now except being home, working and night shifts. I hate the job I have, but I shouldnt complain really, atleast I have one.

To top it all all I want today is to eat. I'm thinking stuff it - i'm calorie counting past 2days all for what? To see a gain on the scales on friday :sigh:

Ignore me this evening, i'm a moaning minnie!! lol

I have never experienced them this bad.
I honestly reckon it's to do with night shift I've never had a holiday and have to come back to working nights that's the only reason I can think of. I am really struggling with them :(

Today Tanya is a very, very, very happy Tanya.

Before I went away, on the sunday morning I weighed myself but didn't write it in here (sorry guys :eek:) and I weighed in at 12st11. This morning I thought sod it, i'm just guna bite the bullet an weigh myself ..... I weighed in at 12st12.

Only a 1lb holiday gain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I can't actually believe it :D

But 'officially' since I last recorded my weight in here its a 2.75lb gain. I have been feeling really down this week but this has atleast put a smile on my face :)

:fingerscrossed: my next holiday is the same.
Want to lose 7lbs before I go - got 6weeks to do it in so hopefully with calorie counting and back to running I can do it.

Yup, i'm over the moon at it. This is the first time I have been on a holiday and not had a serious gain!! :D

Run today was 2miles. Set out to do 3 but I thought actually lets try a sprint :eek: .... it was v.v hot out there today and I chose the wrong time of day to do it but I did it, 2miles in 22:02 :D 267cals burnt.

Cooking lunch for my friend tonight so might indulge in an icecream cone for afters ;)
 
Yayyyyy to the little gain!! That's what maintenance is all about, having manageable fluctuations. No bother to knock off 7lbs by your hol, just cut out the naughties a bit.

hehe yep, except for the square of chocolate and mint icecream today :eek: .. still under on my calories though, I think I can do it :fingerscrossed:

Got a weekend of booze this weekend though. Got a summer ball to go to on saturday night (wine will be involved!) and my bfs day out for his birthday (isnt untill the 26th!!) to the races but I will be having spirits that day.

must remember to now count cals for alcohol :rolleyes: how depressing! :giggle:
 
Oh yeah! The drinks really pile up the cals!!! Wine spritzers are the lowest cal I think but not enough kick in em for me!!

Double gins every time I'm afraid!!!! Or a very large glass for the wine! I hate mean measures!!!

Just munched a slice of cheese and 2 nectarines - for no particular reason other than i'm being a pig!!! x

Holiday blues are indeed a bummer but do try to see the ways in which you're fortunate. I know 'count your blessings' can be irritating but it's just a way to try to turn your thinking back to positivity. Negative thinking will only attract negative experience.

BTW - Are you sure you've never come back off holiday and gone back to night shifts? I thought you'd been on nights as long as I've known you and I remember you going away before .... probably me having another senior moment though ;) xx
 
Nope, I joined nights April 2010. I was on earlies before that :)

I hear what you are saying, im just really really disliking my shift at the minute, i'll get over it though! :giggle: x

Walnut cake for brekkie can only be forgiven if it was one of your own lush creations !!! The bread probably made you feel munchy more than usual. Keep plugging away. Your wi proved that you have been eating not so badly to have huge gains.
