Well done on pulling back the Christmas excess. Good on ya! You must be pleased. On the slush fund debate, a friend of mine is also on pp. She is only using her slush fund for nights out and not every week at that. She is losing 2-3 lbs a week and is really pleased with pp.

Struggling to hit 29pp ... thinking i've already got a lot of food on each day without trying to find extra 2/3 points ... any ideas guys???

(tomorrow is my first duty so hence the pasta being for dinner as i'll have to have it already prepared to have when i get home before heading to work)

Tuesday 18th January

B- 2 slices wm toast 6pp
2tbsp jam 2pp

L- 4 oatcakes 4pp
30g phili light with garlic & herbs 2pp
Ww yog 1pp

D- 200g wm pasta 8pp
50g wafer thin turkey breast slices 2pp
Cucumber, tomato & lettuce 0pp

I think it's probably wise to have few spare points in case you get peckish any time, then if you don't just maybe have a bickie or something ..... ?

In the mist of excitment/nerves i didnt have my oatcakes so grabbed a cadbury brunch bar before heading out - glad i did. Just got home and starvin marvin! Going to have some oatcakes & phili because im still a little hungry.

First shift was great. Really settled my nerves. I guess i should get used to experiencing them for a bit as each new thing brings out a different bag of nerves.

Cant wait for my next one :D

Hopefully next shift on tuesday. I want to do sooner but I think at the minute my seargent has other probationers he has to find time for too. But after these next couple of weeks (cuz theres extra training on monday and tuesday evenings for the next 2weeks) i can tell him right i'm available mondays, wednesdays, sats & suns and get me in as much as :) It was absolutly brilliant - i loved every minute even though it was very quiet. Can't wait for tuesday again now! :D
