Managed to get a half night in work last night so was home and in bed warm and toasty by 4am! :D

Going to take a powerade with me today on my run in my running bottle just to trial it really. Really really not in the mood for 7miles today, long run on a friday :( boooo but just gota suck it up!!! :rolleyes:

Friday 28th January

*7mile run (1hr 17mins 33secs)

*powerade 500ml 3pp
B- muesli & s.s milk 6pp
*banana after run 0pp

L- wm roll 4pp
polony 2pp
salad cream 1pp
ww yog 1pp

*30g cheese 3pp
*nibbled at 3pringles 1pp?

D- 150g boiled pots 3pp
chicken breast 5pp
Carrots, broccoli, sprouts 0pp

*1 chocolate shortcake biccie 2pp
*1 apple 0pp

Total = 29pp
SF = 2pp used today 23pp used ... 26pp left

Hmmm yeah i guess, its an energy drink.

Guys guys guys!!!!!!! GET THIS!!!! I am absolutly stoked can't actually believe it ..... first time running 7miles, I would have been happy with 1hr 22mins as thats what I calculated it would take me judging by my 6mile run but I ran it in
1hr 17mins 33secs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That makes me litterally just over 11mins a mile. I am so thrilled - has defo made my day considering I wasnt really feeling it in the first place. Still can't believe i have knocked 5mins of my estimated time! :eek: :party0049:

Not sure whether it was the powerade that did the trick or whether it was the stern talking I gave myself all the way through the run - either way :D :D :D

p.s ... sorry to go on about my running all the time! :eek:
 
Dont you dare be sorry for going on about your running, you are doing amazing Tanya, and I know you are proud of yourself, and you of course know that we are all amazed and proud of you too.

Brilliant time on the running today, congratulations. Buy some powerade in bulk and keep with it if it helps you.

We mustve posted at the same time chick ... you have dressed her?!!! Pretty cool! Her outfits last night were amazing - she looks absolutly gorge and her legs :eek: lol

Thanks Mary. Im so stoked over that time. Its a perfect way to start my weekend. If I can keep that up i have my 1/2 marathon in under 2hr30 :D
 
Yep she wears a lot of our clothes :) Shes only been in my shop twice when shes been in dublin, shes very easy to dress. When I was in our Head Office last summer she was there at the same time too, picking product! We've had Pixie Lott in too actually :) Shes lovely!!

Just worked out that i burnt roughly 850cals on my run today :eek: Some say 900 some say 850 so i'll take the lower. Not sure what my food would tally too but it explains why i'm feeling alot hungrier!
 
powerade is good stuff.. ive used it quite a lot on my long runs. ive tried gaterade too but i dont think its as nice and has a def aftertaste.

did u find you got really hungry towards the end of your run or were you ok?

I found the powerade really really sweet but i think it defo helped!
I was fine hunger wise, i did have a few burps today which i found odd as ive never had burping whilst running lol :giggle:
 
Well done on your timings kiddo ... Brill! Please don't stop telling us all about it I love hearing it!

Might the powerade have contributed to the burping?? Doesn't matter though does it as long as you weren't uncomfortable. xx
 
Yer no doubt it was the drink. It wasn't uncomfortable just weird running & burping :giggle:
 
Just a thought, I might be way off target here.
But your losses have been low recently, when you use your whole slush fund, or when you dont. Now going back to basics, when we dont eat enough, our body goes into starvation mode and clings onto the body fat - hence we dont lose a lot of weight. I know you are eating your daily points, but due to all the exercise, would it have the effect that you were minus 900 calories and treat your body as if it was in starvation mode. In easier terms, with your body using up so many extra calories due to your running, should you be eating extra points to compensate?

I dont know if this is right, its just the way my mind is thinking this morning when I read how many calories you are actually burning.
 
Yer, know what your saying Mary. Im scared to eat too much though - i already feel like i shouldnt be eating that many carbs.

Today hopped on the scales (sneaky, i know i shouldnt) and I havnt budged! :sigh: I havnt been to the toilet for 4days though (sorry tmi) so maybe thats a factor but i will be so upset if i sts this week. And i really cant see there being a drop of 2lbs between now and monday! :( Also going out for a meal tomorrow afternoon so that'll probably lay heavy. Can't win :mad:

Saturday 29th January

B- 2 healthy living hot cross buns 8pp
butter 2pp
jam 1pp

*1 choc shortcake 2pp
*meringue nest 1pp, ww yog 1pp, defrosted frozen berries 0pp

L/D- 3/4 ww chicken bbq pizza & 2 ww garlic dough balls 11pp

SF= 6pp used today... 28pp used ... 21pp left

It might be worth posting in the WW forum, FAO Class Leader, and ask some advice there Tanya about the extra calories you are burning.
