Shift was great - my shoulders are killing me today.

Brill night out last night, danced alot - unusal for me but also drank alot! ha!

Oh, and I got a portion of cheesy chips at the end of the night :doh:

Annnnnnd I woke up in the middle of the night last night to fine Stevie stood up having a wee in my bedroom bin!!!!!!!! He cant remember doing it LOL

Sunday 17th April

B- 3 bits of bacon (only the top rounded bit the dogs got the bottom fatty bits), 2 slices of cheese & 2 slices wm rye toast ...obv made as a sarnie! lol

*packet doritos
*10 maoam sticks
*bite of a wispa
*chunk of kit kat chunky
*jam donut

D- lasagne (just used the dolmio jar stuff &lean mince) & salad with a pakora &samosa

*2scoops mint choc chip ice-cream

Monday 18th April

B- 2 slices wm rye toast, beans & cheese.

L- ham, mustard, salad sandwich. wotsits. 1/2 mars bar. Couple strawberries.

D- tuna pasta salad with elf mayo

*banana to take to my actual job (back at work tonight :cry:)

Glad you had a good time doing your shifts! When are your next lot? Hahaha about Stevie although I would kill my hubby if he ever did that. Especially as our bin is wicker and it would just go straight through!!
 
Got another shift this evening before my actual job and hopefully i can get out this weekend too as i've told them I am available fri, sat & sun :)

hahaa luckily my bin is metal and I think I only woke up because a couple hours earlier he was sick in the bag and took the bag out before I got home and forgot to replace it so the noise of it woke me :rotflmao: I had to laugh though - this isnt the first time he has done something like this - i think i need to get him nappies :rotflmao;

What are men like for peeing when they are drunk! My brother once came home after a night out, peed through the letter box and went off again. He walked down the road and fell into the river!! Luckily he was awake enough to get straight out, any more booze and he would have been a goner! He had no idea he had done it til we told him in the morning. Men!!
 
Thankgod that your brother wasnt thaaaat drunk Bev..how scary!

Might change my weigh in day to a Wednesday. I'll see how tomorrow goes haha! But with the few bank holidays coming up I think food&drink might be a little 'off' :p

Monday 19th April

3.85m run (42:57.3)

B- porridge made with s.s milk & teaspoon sugar

L- baked lemon&herb tempura battered basa fillet. Boiled baby pots. Lettuce, cucumber, beetroot, slice cheese, salad cream.

*meringue nest, mullerlight, raspberries

D- meal bar

S- 1/3rd sports drink whilst running
banana
Strawberries
Couple slices polony

Very very upset with todays run. So much so that I cried when I had finished. Wanted to do 11.5 miles (3x around burrator resorvoir) did one in 42:57.3 ... got 20metres past the car and I just couldnt face it. Not sure whether it was because it was so hot up there, or maybe the fact I had to go past my car 3 times, or just the fact i'm a big fat failure today.

I feel soooooooooooooo guilty and keep welling up everytime I think about it.

What if that happens on race day?

I know I can run 10miles so why could I only do 3.85 today?!!!! :mad: :cry: :mad: :cry:

I am feeling very sorry for myself now so sorry for the winge guys.

Plan of action is 11.28miles on thursday (2times around saltrum & haye road)
 
Awwww Ta-an ***hugs*** You're way too hard on yourself honey. Everyone has off days. There's no way that'll happen on race day - you'll be pumped with adrenalin which will help.

Maybe it's a bad idea to have to pass your car - even if you just park it so it's out of sight but still not far, then on days like these it won't be quite so tempting. I can't answer why it was hard for you today but I'm willing to bet you come up with some reasons yourself as time goes on.

Tanya don't be so hard on ur self hun - sometimes it's hard to get motivated and at least you done something... I know I couldnt keep running passed my car - I would have jumped in it after the 1st lap! Do u know how many times I've gone to the gym and just drove straight passed! Lol

U will not fail on the day - you will have so many people there encouraging u to keep going.. You have got so much will power! U will do great x
 
Yous have just made me cry again lol

I'm not sure whether im more angry or upset with myself.

I'm leaning towards the lap thing - knowing that i've got to pass the car. I'm guna try map out an 11mile route which includes the hardest part of the 1/2marathon for me to do on thursday so I don't have to run past the car and can just set off from home.

Done :) I've even managed to include another part of the 1/2 mara route .. this should keep me upbeat about it too on the day knowing ive ran it and I can do it.

I'm not letting this beat me - i know i can do it so thursday those pavements better watch out for my feet!!!!!

Spoke to Stevie - he said it might also be cuz of all the crap i've had over the few days ive had off. Very good point. So I might change my long run days to thursdays now - will see how I get on on thursday.

Glad you're sounding more positive Tanya. There's no way you're a failure! You have done so well to get to where you are right now.

Your new plan sounds great, give it a go and see how you get on. Stevie could be right about what you've been eating recently. I bet it was just a one off day that wont happen again.

You'll be fine on the day of the half marathon, you've got such determination there's no way you'll let it beat you.
 
Thanks girls ... I feel like such a twurp for crying about it now.

And you are all right - i am determined and i will not let it beat me. Today was a blip - im sure all runners have these days from time to time?!!!!! :confused:
