⚜ Strawberry Madness progress diary ⚜

Today was awsome 😊 had a really good time and met some new and old faces this time and we marched up and down to the highest peaks of the hills and had lunch on top 🤣

managed over 30k steps today so my feet are going to thank me for that tomorrow I’m sure LOL
The walking poles really did help my good knee funny enough was getting more fatigued than my bad one. Perhaps I should use two knee braces.

when I came back home I really could not be bothered cooking was pretty hypoglycaemic so I just ate the other portion of salad I made yesterday and a grenade bar.

Yesterday night I binged and ate just over 1500 calories so pretty much my days calories today.

I have fasted all day to make up for it and will eat again tomorrow morning back on track.

I went hill walking/climbing and just back now
Got 22k steps today and found a fox skull 😔

You shouldn't starve yourself as your body will store all the calories thinking when is it going to get the next intake if food.

Thank you ☺️ I wouldn’t think that’s going to happen after one day, more likely my fat stores are going to get used up as fuel first.
But i will try not be doing that again, need more control when it matters lol.

Thank you 😊 I think the closer I’m getting to goal the more slip ups I’m having which is annoying because I’ve got that wall before.
But this time I really really want to break through it and continue to an even better me.
One day at a time.

the walking is feeling like it’s getting easier and getting a little more confidence with my knee
Able to jog little sprints now and again on the walk through the hills. Stopping when I can feel my knees getting wobbly. Trying not to push my luck Lol. Or I’ll be In the hospital which is not good.
 
Today’s been nice, spent most of the day on the bus just by myself going around the city playing Pokémon go.
Then I got off the bus and walked down a random path into these woods and was wondering why on earth it was going up such an incline. Then realised I was climbing up a hill LOL.

nice little surprise to find the location and found a rare pokemon hiding up their 😂

Just try to keep as much focus as you can, we can't be perfect all the time because we are human and we have faults but all that matters is we get right back to it as soon as we can.

You can and you are doing this and staying on here and talking to us lot is helping you with that and it keeps you accountable. That's one of the reasons I love this place, we are all in the same boat so we all know what we are going through and can help each other out when we need it.

Glad you had a good day, outside my office there must be some good Pokemon's to collect because every single day we would see literally hundreds of people at the same corner all with their phones out, sometimes about 30 or 40 of them all at the one time.

You’re right dolly it’s really easy to lie about things like overeating but really the person you are truly liying to yourself and that leads to denial and back to where we started.

it’s been tough but I have recorded everything the good and the bad so I don’t give in so easily this time.

just hope I and we all have the determination to actually get to where we want to be, because I know deep down we can do this.

I totally agree with you and Dolly. The only person in denial will be ourselves. Strawberry like you, I log everything so I remember. However, we must remember and realise that we live in a real world and cannot avoid eating differently from time to time (binging is part of that too). In our homes we cook the way we want but when we socialise our friends & family cook differently and we have to allow for that - for example I have a friend who cooks with plenty of lard and drippings (as i use very little and measured fat & oil) so when I go their house, I have to eat what I am given and not make a fuss- I don't like it by cannot refuse to eat or they will be offended (mind you I don't eat with them very often). Equally, when they come to me they have to eat what I offer them. Same with my neighbour who feeds me biscuits & cakes at 4 o'clock every day - now I have told her which biscuits I like (lowest calorie ones) and I make an allowance for it out of my daily calories.
Yes this is an excellent place to support each other and share our highs and lows. I have learnt a lot from being on here.
