10st10lbs' Diary - been away for far too long!

Didn't manage to get to WI this morning as I was ill

Maybe too much info - ignore red part if you are a bit queasy...

Had a bit of a smoke on an empty stomach yesterday, didn't have any fluids either, came home and ate some re-heated noodles, got a migraine so tried to sleep it off, failed after 2 hours of tossing and turning, woke up and decided to have some hot choc while watching The Apprentice, also drank probably 1L of water in about three mins, felt insanely sick as I gulped down the last quarter of the hot choc and proceeded to roll over and cry with my hands over my eyes... Sat up to take some Migralieve, swallowed it and then chucked up not ten seconds later. Thought I had it all out of my system so brushed my teeth, took the Nurofen, climbed into bed and then chucked up again after a couple of minutes... Decided not to post my food diary for today in the hope that soon, I won't be able to remember what it was I ate yesterday that I saw come back up otherwise I will be off it all for life!

Got a couple of hours sleep, woke up at 1am, texted a bit, woke up at 4am, texted a bit more, woke up at 9am, realised I was late for my full day of lectures so thought 'sack it, I'll go back to sleep', but then remembered about WI and just couldn't sleep. Texted my C about not being able to make it but no reply... I actually reckon if I'd gone to WI this morning I would have been within about 2lbs of my target! So will search for a class I can go to tomorrow, or maybe just wait until next Thursday

you still finding you consultant nonsupportive? would you not consider starting up your own class somewhere?

Quite unsupportive, yeah... She sent out the first mass mail I have ever had from her the other day pushing 12 week countdowns to be a stone lighter for Xmas... No other contact, ever! I have considered it a lot but don't have my own car at the moment :( xxx

hugs hun, i hope you are feeling better today x

About to head into the shower to see if it makes any difference, then hoping to go pick my brother up from school and get some fresh air... xxx

Take care, dear. Hope you will feel better soon. Xxx

Hope it helped :)

Thank you sweeties, I feel much much much better now! :) Lunch, which didn't make me feel so great as it was Crosse & Blackwell's Macaroni Cheese, was definitely over-ridden by the long hot shower :)

Just indulged in a couple (OK, five) choccy biccies and a cup of milk (skimmed, though!) so that's the last of the 'I'm ill, I can eat what I want' food! Mucho water is going to be following this before I go to bed! xxx

Had quite a good day today, didn't manage to get in on time for my first class but took the opportunity to have a long walk to uni, then paid as much attention as I could possibly devote to my lecturer while texting - oops !

Got asked out to lunch, hehehe... I was scared we'd end up in McDonalds, but we went to the FoodCourt so there was choice :D and I went to spud-u-like while he loaded up with McDs! On my way to find a table, I got told 'you can sit here if you like babe' by a construction worker pointing to his lap! Hahahahaha... cringe! So we ate our lunches while talking about politics and X Factor and XBox vs PS3 debate and cooking and Money Never Sleeps and Wall Street and god, all sorts! Then I went back to uni while he went to pick up his new game, and I met a friend before my last class who was having a hard time :( so had a long talk with her and it was nice to feel like I'd helped.

For the final class, I was put in a group with three really nice Cyprus students... I want to call them Cyprians for some reason, but it doesn't sound right! Anyone help?! Had a productive hour, though it was meant to be a two hour lesson! Feeling motivated about the project we have to do together, I think I might just get started with putting some ideas down on paper as I want to be productive rather than just throw stuff into the air.

Then met up with my cousin and his girlfriend for a coffee - yes, with sweetener! - and a chat, it was nice! Never met her before but I think we got along quite well...

So all in all, it has been a nice day and I feel as though I'm back on track with SW, anyone want to kick me up the bum to say otherwise? Planning on cooking something nice tomorrow, as I haven't personally cooked anything SW friendly for a while and have just been going with the flow, maybe it will re-motivate me to change my eating habits again...

Had a long search for Alpen Lights in all the pound shops - I hold my hands up to being a cheapskate! Not happy paying £1.71 in Tesco for a box! - but didn't come up with anything :( but found some Mikado! YESSSSSSS!!! :D :D :D However, they don't count as a HExB so I think I may be going without it today... boo hoo :( Oh, unless dried fruit counts... then I'll have some apricots!

Lots of love to everyone reading and thank you so much for being supportive when I was being rubbish. I still feel rubbish but am trying hard not to be it - it doesn't get anyone anywhere apart from down in the dumps.

Cypriot's

so who was this that asked you out for lunch? :fingerscrossed:

Looks like you had a busy day yesterday, but you managed to stick to plan, so well done!
Also curious about the guy who you had lunch with :)
You are too good with the Mikados...I could just scuff them in one go. Also think in Asda Alpen Lights are a bit cheaper than Tesco.
