20 somethings

Argh! The Halloween treats are driving me mental! I just want to dig into the bowl with my face and eat it all, wrappers too!
I went for lunch with my best friend earlier and while she sat there pigging out on KFC (my fav fast food!!!) I had a baked potato with beans and cheese (rank) and a salad with no dressing (ranker!). So I need an intervention!

Now THAT is will power Mandy!!! Woah mega amazing!!!

Thing is, I had to use syns for the cheese, since I always use my hea for milk. I reckon it was about a hea's worth of cheese that I actually ate, and another hea that I didn't. It was tempting, cos I do love me some melted cheese, but it wasn't worth the syns. So I used 6 syns on cheese so far today, which leaves me with 11 if I really, really need some chocolate later. I'm hoping the trick or treaters take it all so I can't eat it, but then the kids are going to come home with bags full too.
It's going to be hard tonight gals. On the plus side, I've gotten some yarn to start my son's hat so that might help me take my mind off sweets.

*9, not 11!

Afternoon all - sorry I've been MIA all day, my last day in the office and I worked through my lunch (Stupidity? Dedication? Who knows!).
A guy in my office usually buys the rolls & sausage on Fridays but he went for one today because it was my last day so it would have been rude to say no. It did have onions on it & I had 2 apples so I had my SF lol!!

Less than an hour of work left so I'm trying to fill time & not do too much haha. Going to the cinema after work and then Nandos so I'll be reasonably sensible today, I'm sure that one roll won't kill me. Not been obsessively weighing this week, not sure if that's a good thing or not - taking my eye off the ball so to speak.

Oh god mandy I know what you mean.... I've been wanting to scoff everything in everyone's treat boxes! I've not got any extra treats in for the trick or treaters because we don't get any. There are some little pumpkins for 50p each being sold by the neighbour though. They are so cute. Knitting is so the way forward! I have a peanut butter kit Kay to use my syns up on I am so tired though, I dunno why!

Thanks for the kind words guys. It is only one woman that is snarky, everyone else is so encouraging and sweet. Mum's friend that rejoined lost 3lbs, so happy for her I gave her a big hug. :)

Clare, sounds like you have a great attitude. I think I should have a non-weighing week because my scales are utterly random anyway.

Jess I bet your girls will look adorable.

Tesco has been, no Apple-gate but they did try the buy one get one free but we only have the "buy one" trick again. And no turkey mince but those red onion free sausages came as did the venison ones and I have some meat in the fridge I can use for bits and bobs, just looks like i'll be rewriting the menu a little bit this week.

Finished tidying our bedroom!!! Yays!!! So happy to have everything away.. Hallway hoovered and sitting room clean, kitchen half done.. Feel like I've done a good days housework now! LOL

So happy to be off on midterm.. Keeping my syns for tonight for halloween munchies with our horror movie.. Thinking some space invaders and a hifi bar?? 6 syns to not much damage!

I found grapes in the fridge, going to munch at them now as I'm feeling hungry and wanna keep the syns for later..

What's your horror movie of choice?

I'm really, REALLY, hoping that my mum has found 'Halloween' in Tesco's. Just waiting for her to get back-Michael Myers is without a doubt the scariest horror villain ever! When we were little my friends and I used to watch it (clearly my mother doesn't love me as she let me be scared lol) and the amount of nightmares I've had about that man are unbelievable lol!

Halloween is my fave too - love that movie! The original though, of course, the remake was terrible!

Haha so true Jenna. He's ****ing weird though. He winked at me twice when saying bye. Creep! When he was nice to me and then walked away all my colleagues were like WTF was that?!

I nearly forgot to take my boyzone mug from the office. Nightmare!
