20 somethings

Haha, that made me laugh Jess. I refer to mine as "sad". Poor sad boobies all frowny. I'm just doing them under the grill, sw chips (serious addiction) and veg. probably broccoli, carrots and courgette... Although Nate goes nuts for courgette so i might not get any! Lunch was salad, a heb of bread with a hea cheese on one slice with sliced picked onion and sliced egg on the other. I figured I should use a heb at lunch.

Yay Laura. I think we must have similar tastes. The man at the mulberry restaurant (dont know It's real name) is so funny. His shoe flew across the room. I went off mulberry went it got all popular. Currently loving tanner krolle. Lush. I get it from eBay though. My mother is a charity shop demon. Seriously she has even gotten a Louis Vuitton from a charity shop!

Emily fast forward is used if you get stuck with weightloss and nothing works. It's very different from sw proper, no syns or healthy extras, just an allocated number of units and a list of things you can use them on. Everything is weighed and measured. It is looking like a gain again and I can't face that. Not two in a row. I shall discuss with mutti upon her return (she has the pack)

The hamper sounds great! I know my dad loved the Montezuma hamper I got him last year so i might get it again unless I get him this nice jumper a man at group had, he said it was m&s.

Jess I'm trying to watch the video but keep getting "page cannot be displayed" grrr.

I'm actually starving. I was up for about a half hour earlier, to complain about my cough, had a cup of tea and went back to bed. Not long up, so I've actually missed breakfast and lunch o_O

I don't think anyone has ever enjoyed two slices of toast as much as I just did :p

Fran, why don't you cook a roast tomorrow anyway.. you can have the roast, and you can do a small portion of spag bol for your Mum.
 
And Jess, I know what you mean by embarrassing. I was nominated for woman of the year in my local group, and having to stand there, telling everyone in all 3 classes (my group is so busy it had to be divided into three) my story... I was actually red hot with embarrassment!
 
Wow your class sounds huge. I was nominated but didn't win. Everyone kept saying afterwards they voted for me. Lol. The lady who won has struggled since and gained 8lbs back, I don't want that to be me :(

It's for mum and dad. It's ok, I was going to do chilli on Tuesday so i'll just do spaghetti bol Monday and roast Tuesday. They are off again in a couple of weeks. Jet setters. Haha.
 
Coincidentally, the woman who won in my group has struggled too and gained 1.5st back. She's now said on Facebook that she's "taking some time out for herself", which we all know is code for "I'm going to take a few weeks, eat rings around myself and when I feel sufficiently crap, and have to start right at the beginning again, I'll come back."

God your parents have the life! lol... I haven't had so much as a night away in about 7 years!
 
Mandy that is actually so right, a few people I know have done the same and 'taking time out for yourself' can only mean one thing 'Scran Scran and more Scran'
 
Haha, I know. I think it helps I'm here to take care of everything. They are just going up to Halifax this next trip.

Ahh, mine has decided to Target for now, at 4st1lb. She was more than a stone in front of me. Now 1.5lbs. Until Wednesday. Im getting peed off at the scales atm. It says I've gained another 2.5lbs, but looking at my food diary it makes no sense.

Lol, I'm not going to live down grilled goons am i?
 
I'm totally with you re the 'taking time off for myself' - I do that far too often!

I've not weighed this week but I will tomorrow morning to see if I'm going the right direction. I'm eating generally okay but will need to make more of an effort this week. New job helps though 'cause there's not so many food places about.

I think I've cracked diet coke too! I had some on Thursday morning and then when I went to have full fat in the afternoon it didn't taste right - result!
 
I've actually (don't let me jinx myself) come off fizzy drinks altogether. Delighted too, as I was drinking them far too much and not having any water. These days I'm managing at least a litre of water and cups of tea during the day so definitely hitting my 2ltrs per day! Yay~!

No Fran, you'll never live down grilling your girls lol Roast breast of Fran for dinner, anyone?! hahaha

The house looks like a bomb-site. Honestly it's disgraceful, but I'm just not well enough to do it. Back to the grindstone tomorrow though, school runs et all, so I really hope I'm feeling better by then. The good news is I think my swollen glands are getting better, since it doesn't hurt so much. Or else I'm just getting used to the pain lol
 
I must admit, Fran, I had to read the grilled boobs comment a few times before I realised you'd gone back to something else!

The OH has just put a roast on but I'm ravenous so sliced a pepper in half, stuck a babybel in each half and microwaved for a minute-ish. I really want full fat crispy roasties! Must stop thinking about them...

Well done to all the Woman of the Year nominees! I'd settle for Slimmer of the Week!
 
God I haven't won SOTW in about a year haha. I don't mind though, it's coming off, slowly or not. I mean, where am I going? Nowhere, right? So if it takes me another year to get to target, at least I'll get there, rather than giving up and staying fat because it's taking too long! :D
