20 somethings

Congratulations Jenna! Amazing! I don't think I've ever been a size 8..!

I'm having a full on mopey afternoon. Need to have a little think on what the matter is because I feel like a cranky toddler! The OH is making me dinner so hopefully that will chirp me up a bit.

Ok, I'm still not hot at remembering everything I've read but what I've got....

Glad you've got some form of diagnosis on the go, Jessica. Hopefully with a bit of trial and error you can get the symptoms under control. Good that the doctors are being so thorough given your family history....must help put your mind at ease somewhat.

Scarlett, I'm very glad that the little blighters weren't horrific today :D Hope they keep it up...if not, send them to me!

You sound like you had a great time, Star. Tell us all! Holiday gains are ok...they're expensive enough that you deserve to eat and drink what you want for two weeks.

Laura, I hope the lavalike situation has stopped lol!

Ok, that's all I can remember!

Lyrically I swear I couldn't believe it, I've never owned anything with an 8 in it before...unless it had a 1 infront of it! Chill out tonight and relax, have some metime :D Good that the oh is cooking dinner :D

Yay star is back! Glad you had a fabby time and hope the scales are kind to you.

Way to go jenna!! I've never been an 8 either Haha. But it isn't my goal thank god! You must be so happy.

Scarlet so happy they weren't turds today. Hopefully it's been a turning point.

Nate's been an utter twat most of the day. Completely done my head in. So he is going to be god-ed tomorrow as punishment - there's a Christian run toddler group run next door to us. So we complete heathens bob along every now and then to catch the latest disease.

Haha Fran that has really made me chuckle!!

Jenna - wow!!! You are now my thinspiration!! An 8-10 is my ultimate goal!

The lava like situation is under control(ish) but I've got quite bad pains in my appendix, which is 'irritated' apparently! Have kept some toast down so will hopefully be able to start eating properly tomorrow!

Xxx

Feeling better for eating! My OH did an unintentional success express meal - 5-spice duck breast (skin removed) with two types of broccoli, cauliflower, mange tout, baby sweetcorn and spring greens!

I think I get post-WI blues - no matter how well I've done. I love updating all my stats everywhere, and then I realise I have a week to wait until I can do it again!

I think I'm feeling a fed up after a meeting with my mentor today. He's in charge of recruitment for the posts I want up in Huntingdon. There are a couple of posts on promotion which are being advertised first and then some on level transfer. I'm applying for both, but not really expecting to get promoted because there are already two people currently doing the jobs that are applying. But then today my mentor told me to 'Be realistic' and reminded me that even if I am as good as them in the interview they will still be better. His overall message was don't be disheartened and really fight for it, but I think it left me feeling a little bit 'What's the point?' about it all. And I think I've realised I want the promotion more than I thought! He also thinks it'll be another month until interviews or anything which is a long time to wait - and it means I'll probably get bad news just before Christmas!

There's a lot riding on it - there are 2 posts on promotion (possibly only 1 now) and 5 posts on level transfer. My OH and I would both have to get them to move together. I know of 4 others that already do similar jobs that are applying. If we get the posts then we'll be able to afford to buy together up there - which would be amazing! If not, we're still in his 1-bed flat in a dodgy area where I would never want to raise children! Lots of uncertainty and I just want to settle down.

Scarlett - so glad the chart is working! Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Oh Fran you do make me laugh! My mum was asked to kindly pay better attention to her children at a Christian toddler group as, while she was looking after my brother (there's a year between us), I squeezed an entire bottle of red paint over myself and another child... She never went back!

Hi girls. I've caught up but done the usual of forgetting everything haha. I've got a dodgy tummy tonight and feel so sick! Glad it's Friday tomorrow. OH had an interview today (just another call centre job for HSBC) but they offered him the job on the spot. It's only slightly more money than he's on now but it's closer to home. He's got an interview next week for a job which pays 4 grand more than he's on now so fingers crossed for that one too! It really frustrates me as he's very very intelligent and he's working towards a second degree but he's being wasted in a blumming call centre!! Oh well at least he has a job so I should be happy haha.

Having BBQ marinated chicken with sweet potato chips for tea (if I can stomach it) and just watching the football on the projector. Could fall asleep right now!

I love illnesses that seem to have emotions like 'irritated' appendix and 'aggravated' cough lol

Good luck for the job transfer or promotion will be keeping fingers crossed that you both can at least get the transfer so you can move

Thats quite good punishment fran and when hes older you can make him go to sunday school, I hated sunday school, except the free trips lol

Thats great jenna, I will be so glad just to get to 12 at least after never being anything under a 16 since I got out of aged clothing lol

Hey girls, it is quiet in here tonight.. I had a good day today, salad twice though so it was definitely a bit on the boring side ;)

So knackered from running around today but I did walk the dog for 3.7km today.. First time in a long long long time since I
actually did that. I feel really proud of that!

Can't wait to weigh in next weekend as I want to have a loss on them scales! A sts isn't good enough!

I'm here, just stuffing my face (again!) at least its only egg and tinned toms this time! just about over the trauma of microwaving bagpuss (why would the wheat bag not be removable?!) and snuggled watching eastenders. how are you jenna? x

I have a heat pack thing which is a knitted Clanger and you have to microwave the whole thing too!! We haven't got a microwave since we moved house and I miss his warmth :(

It really is quiet on here tonight! Sounds like you've had a really good (if busy) day today!

I'm looking forward to WI on Tuesday, if only because I've not really eaten (bar 4 slices of toast and an apple) in the last 3 days, and am hoping for a good loss! Xxx

it is very quiet indeed.

emily, we're sending you good luck vibes :)

I love how everyone enjoys my punishment. bare in mind i have to put up with these women too. imagine they are all thick, patronising and had their kids in their 40s. URGH. not helped by the fact i look 19 according to most people! unfortunately as a confirmed heathen i can't send him to sunday school. the vicar lives on the same road as me but in one of the parish magazines this year he basically said it is ok to swear so i don't think sending him over will be any sort of punishment. This sunday the sunday school kids were playing netball... not too religious!

Loving the idea of microwaving dear tv characters! haa, i am a bit evil....

I've been looking for knitted dresses but they are all puke, boring or too small. i've found a bench one i really like but it is £40... hmmm

I apologise for my quietness tonight! OH is off work tonight and having not spent my birthday together we are having snuggles haha. And I've painted my nails about 3 different colours, I think I'm obsessed with painting my nails? I did barbie pink decided it wasn't me, then green, didn't like it. So took it off and went for a nudey colour. Looks nice! Took me forever to write this as trying not to smudge ;) x
