20 somethings

Aftershave as a filler! Wow you must go all out! I can't afford dad's. I got him a nice jumper from m&s that he will like. And two books from Nate. I feel I should get my brother something extra. I got him a big cook book because he now has to cook for himself. I might get him a big slab of chocolate. Haha, he is skinny so can eat it.

Nah luckily they have cheap taste haha bit of lynx and they are happy lol I cant afford my dad either he has expensive taste, he always says he doesnt want anything and yet he ends up with the most spent on him im just getting him extra hot cheeses and chutney etc..this year as my sis has bought him a marble cheese board and wire cutter, I went a bit extra for my mum as she has done alot for me this year, I bought her a new saint christopher necklace

All done now thankfully, that was a horrible walk home loaded with bags though :/ dont know what id do if I didnt have oh to carry the heavy stuff, probs get a taxi haha n omg the chocolate in this house atm lol huge galaxy bar, quality st, baileys chocs, ferreros, segsations, heroes, celebrations, dairy box, black magic, not even tempted! If it was vice versas that would be different as im a sucker for white choc lol

Ooh, sounds like torture! I only got chocolates for the kids and they are tied up in a carrier bag. Mind there is generally a lot of chocolate around in everyones treat boxes but Christmas chocolate just seems more tempting.

I think I spent most on my dad, maybe join him and mum. Only 40-45 each, and I don't have a huge family or loads of friends to buy for. I might get my nieces' mum something extra too...

Going to the village shop was fun, what takes 2012 minutes each way took nearly an hour and a half! It was funny though, it was school run time and a little boy waves at me and yells "look mummy it's your friend!" Bless him. I've not seen her since July! Saw a bunch of other mums I know too. then everyone was in the shop, where I impressed a lady and her kids by knowing how to make mint fondants, then suggested orange ones coated in dark chocolate to which the mum got really excited, that said she didn't know what was in pesto... Mum always tells me not to let the women round here look their nose down at me because even if they are well off, and in some cases are posh, they are all thick really made me feel better. One woman who lives on my road was chatting to me on the way home and she was actually really smart and interesting. She is very shy though so I haven't spoken to her much but it was nice getting to know her a bit. Granted mum was right about most the people here, but I'm glad I have found someone interesting and intelligent. Unfortunately it has happened after my brain has fallen out of my head.

Ooh my goodness!!!! Just read the last few pages and saw my message! I don't even remember posting!!! Was a great night, got absolutely sloshed (as you can tell!) and ended up doing something a bit silly....... May have made a baby! Since I got my periods back they've been all over the place, and as I was so drunk I pounced on Ben and we didn't use protection. If it happens then it happens, but the thing is if we did, the due date is ONE WEEK AFTER THE WEDDING!!!!! so if we did then we will move the wedding, but if not then everything can stay the same as the plan is to start trying again as soon as we're married. Can't believe such a silly thing to do, but if it happens then it's obviously meant to be, so will be happy either way.

Went to weigh in tonight and somehow lost 2.5lbs! Totally undeserved, especially with the two times getting sloshed in the last week and a half, but really pleased as I have now lost 5 STONE since Jack was born 7 and a half months ago!!!! :D My aim is to get into the 11 stones for new year, so only 1.5lbs needed to do that, then to continue steadily to my target and hopefully get there february/march time at the latest (assuming i'm not pregnant! lol!)xx

thats good fran, i had to read the first bit a few times- 2012 minutes?!? lol nice you found someone you get on with, not nice to be around a load of hoity toity posh bits!

ooh sammy i did laugh at your post the other night! and that is quite an oops! hehe, will be great if it happens though so keep us posted! well done for the 2.5lbs!

had an ok day, stupidly tired though for no particular reason again..will be off to bed after corrie! been an ok day, spoke to the people who havent yet sent mikes football shirt (xmas present) was getting really worried and she said they are all made to order to it is currently at the embroiderers and due to be dispatched on wed. however if it not been sent by wed they will pay the extra for next day delivery, plus on top of that for peace of mind she is sending me a gift card with a message and a picture of the shirt he is getting, so if it does go pear shaped and it doesnt arrive, i have the card to give him as an iou rather than be a present short. feel a bit better about it all now! will finish the rest of my shopping either friday if i finish early, or saturday if i dont. excited :)

haha thanks ladies! I don't do things by half, obviously! :) xx

haha scarlet, stupid phone keeps changing 20 to 2012. bloody thing. glad you had a nice day. i'm watching corrie too. carl's such a scummy loser. And it is great that the company is reassuring you. hopefully you won't need that card.

I've felt enormous all week so a bit grumpy and not looking forward to weigh in.

Hopefully you'll have a nice surprise at weigh in hunny, I feel so fat and bloated today that a 2.5lb loss nearly had me dropping through the floor! Totally unexpected! xx

my wonky scales show +2.5lbs, so that could either mean +3.5 or -1.5... someone moved the scales so I can't work out how they correlate with group's scales. usually I have to either plus 1lb or minus 4lb. makings serial weighing so difficult. haha.

I will be killing myself with that 30 day shred from wednesday, might as well because i will be gaining over x-mas anyway so this way i can gain even more and hopefully lose some inches.

You'll do it hunny, stick with it and by day 3 you feel so much better. I did 8 days of it and it was great, but i maintained the whole time, so i decided i'll get to target first and then do it to just tone up :) xx

haha well even one day is better than nothing! (though i do nothing at the moment, really dont have the time!) xx

Still awake but in bed now. Zzzz.....
I so need to get back on the shred..being realistic though I'm never going to do it before christmas! Will use it as a tool to get rid of the Xmas gain! Trying not to slip into Xmas mode yet but its so difficult! I'm at least going to try and stay on plan (ahem...get back on) till I finish work on friday, then be on plan whenever I'm at home over my time off. Apart from some wensleydale and cranberry.....mmmmmmmm.....

Hello everyone! So sorry I have been a stranger! I have had so much going on! I attempted to recap through the 50 odd missed pages but can't catch up :( probably missed loads of chitter chatter, hope everyone is doing well and ready for Christmas! Lily was rushed to hospital last week with suspected pneumonia, she couldn't even walk or talk and was in and out of sleep, luckily no pneumonia just many many infections taking over and after 4 strong courses of antibiotics she is back to health! And just in time for Christmas! She's off to see Cinderella this morning with school and Cinderella is being played by Jennifer metcalf (Mercedes from Hollyoaks) so she's very excited! Just found out yesterday my Frylight ad is in the new SW mags so buy it ladies :p missed you all and hope you are all doing good, now the kids are both better and back to school I should be around more! Oh oh also, I went to meet my surgeon an he is going to do a full body lift instead of a tuck which involves a cut right around my middle and above bottom, which will result in flat tum, back skin gone, bum and upper legs lifted and smooth!! And he's looking to do it in march so it's all very exciting on that front! Xxxxx

Hey jess! So glad lily is better, that must have been such a worry for you x
Will get my sw mag asap :)
Woohoo that's fab news about the surgery! Bet you are so excited!
Looking forward to Christmas? Might go and see the panto in my town, we've got Gillian thingy...jean from eastenders in ours lol. She's a fab actress though so wonder that she would be like in panto. Mum boss home today as she is going to a funeral :( she's done the school run though so get to stay in the warm! Hopefully may mean an early finish but shan't hold my breath! It's often the case that they make me stay as late as usual even if they are both home but I can hope!

Morning everyone! I've been keeping vaguely up to date with everyone on here thanks to the hotel's wifi but made a rule to ignore my phone for the weekend!

Back home now after not being very on plan... The main killer was that the friends we went with bought loads of crisps on the first day so I found myself picking when we were just chilling out in the room. Meals were okay and I only drank a lot on one night but it was all the bits inbetween. My body absolutely hated all the bread based stuff and the one occasion I ate something really cheesy. By some miracle the scales are saying I'm only half a lb up - probably because of my bathroom misery last week..!

Fran, it seems I am following your monthlies symptoms as mine showed up a week early on the first day of holiday - typical! But I feel so much better. I love reading about all the lovely things you and Nate do together!

Christie - so sorry to hear about your friend. You're the 3rd person I know of to lose someone around our age really suddenly in the past week. It's frightening.

Laura - great to hear you're feeling slim! I think feeling it in yourself can be one of the hardest bits.

Jess - sorry to hear about your little one. I'm glad Lily is on the mend - you must have been so worried. Looking forward to the SW magazine even more now! Brilliant news on the full body tuck! You really will feel like a new woman!

Sammy - Your drunken message really made me smile - lovely to know you were thinking of us! :giggle:

Scarlett - Fingers crossed for an early finish!

New 20-somethings - Welcome!!
