20 somethings

Yeah the insurance is definitely going to get me... I'll only have a provisional license so it'll be at least 1,500 euro for the year. Ouch.

As for clothes sizes? Don't even get me started. I started off at 18st in a size 20, and now I've lost just about 4st, I'm in an 18! 4st, one dress size?! Granted, some things like track bottoms will fit me in a 16 but jeans? No way.

Girls, I really need to "go". Haven't been since I had the stomach bug on Monday last week and I'm convinced that's why the scales aren't moving. I just had wholemeal toast (don't eat bread that often anymore) and weetabix, in the hopes of getting something to move before WI at 5.30pm lol

That's the thing isn't it, I comfort myself with it whenever I fall off the wagon - even if I eat 30 syns' worth of chocolate in one sitting, my general eating habits and levels of health are so much better now than they have ever been that I am just happy to be where I am today!

Clothing sizes are bizarre - I have lost about 1st3lbs since my heaviest and I'm still the same dress size as I have been since I was 17. My face looks thinner and my legs are a better shape.

Mandy, I get really irregular, and I find eating loads of pineapple/melon (I mean platefuls) and drinking loads of water really helps. If you drink 1.5litres in an hour (I know it's a lot) and then don't go for a wee until you are so busting it's painful, then go, it might encourage movement in your bowels :) I don't know if it's the pressure from your bladder being full or what, but that's fool proof for me! Also, google "bowel massage" and give yourself a DIY one. Just basically a stomach rub that encourages things to get going :)

Oh clare your office is so tempting!

Mandy I went from 21 stone and a 22/24 (if I am honest) to 16.5stone and a 16. I only really want to be a 12, but I want a healthy bmi so if my stones match my size I might have to he a 10, I will know when I get there I guess. My cheapest insurance was £1600. Awful.

For pooping oranges. If you think you give babies OJ or sugar water to get them going.... Oranges work on toddlers too. I have an irregular bowel too. It is annoying but I just get on with it as best I can

You should invest in some bioslim or slimatee that will get your bowels moving lol alot of the girls I know on sw take it the day before weigh in to have a clear out lol

Toblerone minis are 12.5g and 3.5 syns. BUT toblerone 25g serving is 6.5 syns. So 13 syns. I had diet coke and cherry Pepsi max. Mm.

Ch2b my grandma's ****ed her bowels up by using laxatives to go so I am very wary of using them.

Okay that's alright then. Still within my syns I suppose. I had diet coke, but that doesn't count :p

Devestated, girls. Half a pound on. Going to do some SE days now to see if I can shift something by next week, and if not, I'm going to talk to my Consultant about the Fast Forward plan. Not something I'm greatly looking forward to, but if it's the only choice left to me... I'll do it.
Gonna invest in some Senekot or something, too. C'est la vie!

Boo! But you will totally shift it this week :)
As for the senekot...I'd personally go for dulcolax. I bought senekot aaaages ago and it did sweet fa, bought dulcolax and lets just say things moved swiftly!

I've eaten well today, going to aim for the same tomorrow. Have already prepared a lovely fruit salad for my lunch-melon, apple and pineapple (omg I have developed a new, insane love for pineapple, which isn't great as I'm imagining it's like grapes and probably packed with sugar but we shall see)

I always have pepsi max tastes better than the full sugar version I find full sugar weird tasting now

The good thing about slimatee is that its just a subtle lax and most people only have a cup when they feel blocked up so it wouldnt do any damage unless someone took it too far and had one a day but who would want to empty that much lol
I havent had any yet as I need to have a day free lol

Aww mandy :( I suppose a good thing is that its only half a lb and im sure next week you can shift that just try to stay positive, I havent heard of this fast forward is it like a booster week or something to start you off losing again?

I'll try the dulcolax so.. think between myself, my mother and nan, we probably have a bottle somewhere lol
I reckon pinneapple probably is full of sugar lol..

Fran, I haven't done FF in the year I've been with SW, but it's time to get serious and shift this weight.. if FF is the only way to pull myself out of this rut, so be it. Wondering if the weird bleeding is anything to do with it? It's like I'm constantly having a period, but only a mini one, and only 3/4 days a week... but EVERY week ugh. Dunno what they done to me during that laser surgery!!

CH, the FF plan is horrible by all accounts. Stories of people going to bed cos they're so hungry. Don't really know the in's and out's of it, since it's a very personal plan that your Consultant has to work out with you. You basically plan every meal for a week and have to stick to it.. no switching around. It's concrete!

I could never do that, I guess its a very last option, im sure you would be fine without it, hopefully you will see a loss next week before you need to go down that route x

I have a loose idea of what meals I want to cook during the week, but I never have the meals on the days I thought I would. Like today I was thinking pasta but ended up with chicken and chips instead lol. Tomorrow I'm planning a stew...and I do intend to make that...so I suppose I should take the meat out of the freezer :p

You have to weigh and measure every morsal, no free foods. I think a banana is 2 units, as is a small chocolate bar! My consultant couldn't be bothered to work out my mums units and just gave her what she, the target consultant, would have. Measuring everything is a complete pain in the arse, i was cooking for her and something different for me and dad. She was hungry a lot but she kept using units on wine. Lol.

My grandma used laxatives daily. She is an idiot though.

I think my menstrual chocolateness is catching up with me now. Grr. I hate hormones.

That bleeding sounds worrying. What surgery did you have?

If you took them daily you would live your whole life on the toilet lol
