I did graphic design as my degree but I didn't really do "graphic design" I went into art and exhibition curation instead as I'm not interested in graphics however my course was so open that you can do anything you wanted really as long as it was creative. I put on a few exhibitions in London myself and got to work with the Tate, think a book I wrote is going to be published in the Tate library at some point, so excited!! I'd love to do an MA in curation. I really like being in education haha. I'm struggling to find a job at the moment being unemployed is horrible :( xx

I love all things creative and arty! Just a shame I couldn't do a "art" degree so to speak. The course I'm doing though has lots of different pathways so eventually I'll get to do history of art and perhaps something a bit more creative.

Sounds like you have done fab for your self hun :) great stuff about the Tate! What sort of job are you trying to get into? It's such a tough world at the moment trying to get a job :-( x

Oo that sounds really good. I bet you'll have a great time :) Thank you hun. I'm trying to get any job at the moment, anything that pays the rent haha. I have an interview next week at Boots so fingers crossed for that. Ideally I'd love a job as an gallery assistant but there isn't anything like that at the mo xx

Good luck with the interview next week. Keeping everything crossed for you :)

A gallery assistant would be an amazing job :) I'm all for getting out of a 9-5 desk job but it's just so hard to find something. X

It's just a tesco light wrap (135) tesco tikka chicken pieces (60) lettuce (10) and half a tbsp of extra light mayo (5) it's delicious!!

Yesterday was a struggle but I got through

Breakfast - actimel (75) mullet breakfast corner (161) bite of croissant (60)

Lunch - veg stirfry (205) cheese string (66) gold bar (115)

Dinner - home made lasagne (300)

Snack - toffee (120) cookie (51) sweet (65)

Total cals: 1220

20 over

On reflection there were many places I could have saved calories. Not sure I'll be eating many of the mullet breakfast corners. I feel they are a bit of a waste of cals for what they are.

Was the lasagne nice? I tried cooking a low calorie lasagne and it wasn't that great :( xx

Lasagne was beautiful!! I did a full fat one and cut it into 8 making it 300 cals a slice. It was soooo tasty! Great with a massive salad mmmmm

Mmmm just had a piece of left over lasagne yummy! Going to the gym after work followed by the cinema :) choices for dinner as I'll be on the go, is a smoothie or a tikka wrap. X

Just thinking of something to help motivate me and push myself with exercise....

I've decided I'm going to try and do 1000 miles in 10 weeks.

100 miles a week - walking, running, cycling, cross trainer etc. I know this sounds an awfull lot but I think it will motivate me I get up and go for a walk at night time or on my dinner. Cycling I know for a fact I can easy clock the miles up on a stationary bike.

X
