The curry looks beautiful, did you use a recipe? x
Thanks. I just make up my own recipe. Here is what I did
Chop an onion, grate some ginger, crush a couple of cloves of garlic and dry fry for a few minutes on low heat
Add curry powder ( use a packet or curry paste - do not forget to syn the paste) and fry for a couple of minutes
Add cubes of beef and fry until meat is covered with the mixture and sealed
Add some salt and a can of chopped tomatoes and some water
Bring to boil and then simmer for an hour or so or until meat is tender and liquid reduced
Add any vegetables you like ( carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, courgette- I use any leftover veg). If I have some milk that it is near the use by date, I add (HexA)
Cook for further 15 minutes.
Turn off the heat and leave for 15-30 minutes so the meat soaks up all the flavours ( if you can wait)
I make mine a day before and leave so all the flavours are obsorbed. Curry always taste better the next day.
I make a big batch and freeze them.
Hope this is helpful. Enjoy it.
