A bit late to the game

Thankfully I have managed a 2lb loss this week :D 15st 3lb

I say thankfully because although I was in that range Monday-Thursday I suddenly shot up to 15st 5lb on Friday and the same yesterday

and i was not a happy bunny at all. I can only assume that it had something to do with TOTM.

Otherwise a not too bad week. Have to say I was not enjoying the walking at all yesterday (not that I really enjoy the walking as such but my legs felt really dead or something).
I did manage 6 days.

Waiting to go out this morning but there are big black clouds overhead and I'm worried it's going to rain :sigh:

Oh and come-on England! ;)
 
Well done on the 2 pounds PK, that's great news. It's very hard to motivate yourself to walk when it is so warm and sticky I think so don't beat yourself up about that.

Hmm well a stay the same this week (although for the end of the month I was 15st 2 & 1/2lbs

However that was Thursday morning and Thursday was a bit of a train wreck calorie wise.

Was out for a half day thing with my team at work. We were at a local bar and I had veggie burger and chips for lunch. The drink wise.

Well I was going to have the half sugar bicardi breezers because
A) they were half sugar
B) half of the team would be far heavier drinkers than me and I didn't want to try and keep up so I figured something with less alcohol was smart
C) Vodka & diet whatever are expensive

Of course they didn't do half sugar or light ANYTHING :rolleyes:

So I was drinking Smirnoff Ice and then a couple of kopparberg cider things. Which pretty much meant I had double my calorie intake for the day

Oh and to top it off I had a half a burger king whopper & fries when I decided to head home :break_diet:

(I left quite early though and I didn't have a hangover the next day which I was very pleased about).

On friday I caved in to a craving for icecream and had an aero icecream bar.

Blah.

Back on track for next week though!
 
well done on the sts considering the day you had..

dont feel bad. just put it behind you and let this week be a better one.
 
A little bit peeved

today is my normal weigh in day and I was 15st 3lbs again for the 3rd bloody week in a row :mad:

yesterday I was 15st 2 (1/2)lbs so sod it. I'm taking that instead.

I didn't have a particularily bad week. Out walking 6 days and I'm off work for the next couple of days so I plan the longer ones.

I did have some chocolate cake but I didn't think my food was *that* bad either.

Just getting abit annoyed!
 
PK you're doing so well, don't get down hearted, is there something you could change or do differently to shake things up a bit? Hope tomorrow's weigh in is better,

and yes good news! 2lb loss! So I'm now at 15st! 14st here I come.

Managed to get in my extra walking Mon-Wed. I skipped Thursday but out Friday, tomorrow (extra) and I'll be going out shortly.

I think my food intake has been okay although I've been getting hungry in the evenings, which I don't like. I normally have something yummy when I come back from my evening walk (ideally a weightwatchers biscuit :p) but that's about 7ish at the latest.

Perhaps it's because it's coming up to TOTM. Oh well.

Unfortunately (although I'm looking forward to it! :p) going out for an Indian this Friday which might scupper my weigh in next Sunday. Although I am determined to not order nan bread!
 
I'm also going to try the - one sip of alcohol (wine) one sip of water method as well :D

Put 2lbs on :cry:

Not sure if it's food or TOTM or both. So back to square 1 for this month

Oh I :heartpump: those....and you've just reminded me how lovely they are...grrrrr!
Sorry to hear about the 2lbs though - even if it does turn out to be TOTM, it's still disheartening at the time, isn't it?

I just wanted to post that today on the scales I was 14st 12lbs (and 3/4). Now it might all be back on me by Sunday (my official weigh in day) so I wanted to brag about it before it did rather moan about how I'm not it then (if that makes any sense) :p
