A yummy (and happier and healthier) mummy - for good this time!

Yeah I saw that too! I really need a farm shop trip. Enjoying my green days lately though!
Getting on quite well, I did one on Sunday (pork in apple/mustard sauce) and yest- the chip/cheese/BBQ sauce combo that I stole from you was yummy! I've seen my next experiment for a meal though- its a mushroom risotto type dish but uses Pearl barley & a few other bits. I need sw-friendly it but hoping to try it tomo if OH goes to the gym! X
 
I seem to be enjoying a few more green days too! Not missing the meat at all- i was vegetarian for 5 years during my teens though so its like a second nature. If anything id miss fish the most!
I wish i had a fishmonger near me- got a whole host of butchers and greengrocers but not a single fishmonger :(

Good amount of body magic today- went to get Reece's hair cut and walked around some shops aimlessly! All whilst pushing Reece in a ruined buggy (went through the wars whilst we had our summer holiday and i think pushing it around the cobbles of London over Xmas has killed it!) which was hard work!

Todays food (green day)-
B: Nothing.
L: Mugshot. Cheese sandwich (60g WM bread hexB1, 50g philadelphia light part hexA1). Satsuma.
D: Mushroom omelette (mushroom, onion, 2 eggs) with SW chips, 2tbsp bbq sauce 2syns and 15g reduced fat cheddar part hexA1.

Snacks: Yogurt. 2 x Alpen light bars hexB2. Blueberries. Quavers 4.5syns.
Drinks: Starbucks medium skinny caramel latte (skimmed milk hexA2 and SUGARFREE syrup) 4 x cups of tea (1 with 1tsp sugar 1syn and the rest with sweetener and skimmed milk 2syns) Flavoured fizzy water.
Syn Total - 9.5syns

If anyone has any tips for making omelette id be happy to hear them- mine was more scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onions! Still tasty but not what i planned!

Oh and I'm so excited and happy about my Starbucks having sugar free caramel syrup!! Finally!! Saves me syns!

I usually end up with a scrambled mess as well - could do with a new nonstick pan, I think. Do you use Frylight when doing your omelettes? If not, maybe a few squirts of that, and getting the pan really hot before you pour the egg in might help?

My OH always ends up with a scrambled egg mix too! The way I do it is start with a hot pan, pour in the whisked eggs then turn the heat down and leave for 30 secs so it can form a bit of a base. Using a spatula/egg slice, scrape the edge and drag towards the middle of the pan, then tilt so the runny egg fills the gap you made. Do this maybe 3 different points on your omlette until there's little runny bits left. Add your topping, leave for 30 secs then fold in half and voila!
If you have any runny bits right in the middle that won't run out you can pop it under the grill or I put a large pan lid over the top to cook it through!

Glad its not just me Moonbeam! It was a delicious scrambled mess though :p
Last night I fried my onions and mushrooms in frylight first and then added the egg mixture into them. My pan is quite small so (as well as ommitting the splash of milk) I think they sit a little too thick and it may stop them setting...
 
Will try it again without any milk!

L: 4 x ryvitas hexB topped with 50g philadelphia light part hexA and cherry tomatoes. Grapes. Pear.
D: 3 x Tesco light choices sausages 3syns. Carrot and potato mash (made with 10g light spread 2syns). Baked beans.

Snacks: Popcorn 2.5syns. 1 freddo face 1syn. Blueberries.
Drinks: Cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk part hexA). Flavoured fizzy water. 275ml bottle of carling zest 5syns.
Syn Total- 13.5syns
 
Finally finished my day wedding invites today! Ready to be posted on Monday! Phew!
Just gota keep the momentum going so i can do my evening invites and they can be posted early February :)
I made pocketfold invites- each contains three little cards for information and an RSVP card so i made a lot of work for myself! Might dumb down the evening invites a little!!

The weightwatchers yogurts are on offer 2 packs for £2 in Tesco and they are amazing! The vanilla and toffee ones and the desert recipe ones are free as well so a lovely change to fruit flavoured yogs! Might crumble a lemon drizzle alpen into the lemon tart yog tomorrow! Will hopefully be just like having a lemon tart!!

Oops! Sorry! I just realised ive blabbed on quite a lot on this post! My mouth (or fingers in this case) tend to run away from me when im tired!!

D: Chicken breast coated in schwartz seasoning. SW chips. Mushrooms fried in garlic and frylight. 1tbsp lighter than light mayo 0.5syn.

Snacks: Banana dipped in toffee yogurt. Special K chewy bar hexB. Crunchie (selection box size) 7.5syns.
Drinks: Costa medium skinny vanilla latte (skimmed milk hexA and 2 x syrup 2syns). 4 x cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk 2syns) SF orange squash.
Syn Total- 15syns

The ww yogs are yum! I dont like mullers because they are so runny so its nice to find free non-fruit flavoured yogs!
 
Weighed this morning and down to 12st 1.5lb so a loss of 2lb this week :) Very happy!

D: Bolognese (5% beef mince, onions, garlic, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, Worcester sauce and stock) SW chips. 2 x reduced fat cheese slices 2.5syns.

Snacks: Weetabix oaty bar hexB. Banana. WW yogurt. 2 x freddo faces 2syns.
Drinks: Starbucks medium skinny caramel latte (skimmed milk hexA and sugar free syrup) Cups of tea ( sweetener and skimmed milk 2syns). Pepsi max cherry. Water.
Syn Total- 12.5syns

Hurrah!! Well done on the loss, that's fab! Am curious about these WW yogurts, so will check back, and check my book. I've been on a bit of Muller kick lately, but they can be a bit runny!
What kind of ravioli do you get? Did you know that Sainsburys do a tinned beef ravioli that's syn-free? (Or was last time I checked!)
