Ah Lisa, I’m glad at least the meeting is over and that seeing OH after was good (your lunch sounds amazing too)

I am not sure I agree with their argument re part timers and sick record tbh because say for example you are working 3 days a week instead of 5 if you are sick for a week you are off 3 days and a full timer would be off 5 so surely it is naturally pro-rata’d?

Also surely they can only take company sick pay off you and not SSP?

I have been on not being able to self cert before – it was really awkward as doctors refused to write a sick note as the official rule is that you should be able to self cert and I had to take a letter from work to the doctors to say I needed it, and then they said they were going to charge as it would be a doctors letter not a sick note so I went back to work with that as the HR policy says if that is the case they would pay for the letter and of course my manager didn’t want to but had to arrange it so might be worth checking out how your works policy is on that.
Would it be worth seeing if you could try a different counsellor as sometimes it can be the style or the person you don’t gel with and someone else could be more helpful. Hope you are feeling better now it's over though.

Snow, i did ask about the self certification thingy as my doctor is the same- they charge for a sick note in the first 7 days and my line manager is going to find out for me, as i dont want to not get paid sick pay and then have to fork out for a sick note as well.
And I didnt even think about the different types of sick pay so i will ask about that next week.
Whats annoying is they ask for some kind of "improvement" but don't specify what that actually means so depends of the disciplinary managers meaning. Too much wiggle from for my liking...

Yesterdays food (Green day)-
B: Nothing.
L: Cheese and marmite sandwich (60g WM bread hexB1, 40g reduced fat cheddar hexA1 and marmite) Mango. Kiwi.
D: Mugshot. 2 x boiled eggs. Yogurt. Satsuma.

Snacks: Cupcake (unsure on syns as was from a bakery- approx 10syns?!?) Hula hoops puft 3.5syns. 2 x Alpen light bars hexB2. Satsuma. Plum.
Drinks: Starbucks medium skinny caramel latte (skimmed milk hexA2 and SF syrup). Water. 2 x cups of tea (sweetener and skimmed milk 1syn). Diet orangeade.
Syn Total- 14.5syns
 
Will be off plan for the weekend as we are going to stay with h2bs family and thats never SW friendly. Plus h2bs mum and sister are taking me out for dinner and drinks on Saturday as they are unable to come to my hen do.
Im gona try and snack on fruit and healthy snacks (not jump into full fat pop and chocolate bars!) but i probably wont have much control over meals.

Lisa, hi!! I'm back from hols and it looks like I've missed loads! Hope you're feeling better hon. From reading your diary, it sounds like we could possibly be working in the same office! We've had quite a few off with anxiety and or depression in the last couple of years. I have to say... when you're dealing with that sort of emotional stuff, doing things to satisfy your employer or doctors paperwork requirements is the last thing you want to have to worry about. I've got to a point in the past where I just didn't bother - which wasn't good either.

It sounds like you've got loads on your plate hon, make sure you're getting in some good YOU time, even if it means going off plan for a couple days - you've got to keep your brain and heart happy too! xoxo

I overindulged on the weekend- i was like a junk food dustbin :(
Started with fish and chips (Thurs), beers then progressed to a pub lunch in London with a cider (Fri), a three course dinner with prosecco and wine (Sat) and ended with a burger and chips takeaway (Sun) with loads of junk thrown in between...

I paid for it yesterday though and had a dodgy tummy all day. Think it was a bug more than a punishment for over indulging as Reece was unwell too.

Still had to go to work though- even if it meant my stats are terrible as i spent a lot of time in the bathroom (sorry for any tmi!) But of course even that I had a reason wont be remembered when i get put on an action plan at the end of the month for not adhering to targets...

D: Mugshot. Plum.

Drinks: Starbucks medium skinny caramel latte (skimmed milk hexA1 and SF syrup). Water. Boots shapers tropical drink. Costa medium skinny vanilla latte (skimmed milk hexA2 and half syrup 2syns).

Feeling so fat and bloated at the moment :( Have got star week so hoping it's mainly that causing it.

I feel like there is loads to do Rosie but i am finding it hard to actually pinpoint the jobs down! Its little finishing touches!

I had my final dress fitting this morning- i didn't want to take it off again but its going back to the shop to be steamed so its perfect- and be taken out of my house so i dont keep trying it on everyday!

Feeling less bloated today- dare i hope for a loss on the weekend?!

Drinks: 4 x cups of tea (sweetener and skimmed milk part hexA). Pepsi max cherry. Flavoured fizzy water.

Last WI was about 2/3 weeks ago... *hangs head in shame* Ive been so on and off plan lately that I've been scared of the scales! And i feel a little bulky but hoping thats junk food and star week bloat!

Ive got little loops sewn into my wedding dress so i can thread a bra through without it ruining the v-back- i feel so much more comfortable with a bra on, despite that its boned at the front so i probably dont need one!

Ah not to worry- I think sometimes we can be guilty of putting too much faith in the numbers. I know sometimes I 'feel' slim then get on the scales and they're up! And vice versa.
Sounds like you have a good solution there with the bra loops! Its nice to have the extra support. I dunno what I'll be doing yet but suppose I will see at fitting! Your hen do will be coming up soon won't it? X
