Abi's weightloss diary - post jaw surgery

LOL Gem, dyson are they. :D

apparently so Jim x

I don't eat many apples really, maybe one a week Gem.

Same here but maybe I should. There you go, I know what I should be doing so I've only myself to blame if I don't x

LOL, do as I say, not as I do there Gem. ;)

Something like that Jim - but I do try - some say I'm very trying x

well i'm nomming on an apple at the moment as that was the other alkaliney fruit i decided to give a go. grapes are alkaline too but they made me so horrendously ill last time i daren't :( maybe once i have more confidence in the pineapple. if it was a fluke i'm going to be so upset, ha. have had ryvita and philly light for brekkie. was yummy. i strangely really like ryvita. especially when i'm feeling summery like i am today :) so it's all good. am considering caffeinating myself a wee bit with a weak instant coffee but think i'll wait a bit longer.

abz xx

When I was breast-feeding (back in the dark ages cos I'm old) my health visitor told me that "Grapes gripe" so that may be the reason they made you ill. Incidentally I was always ok with them but they did make the baby's nappy a little interesting x

Nappies, nappies, nappies - na na na na na!!!!!

cheeky!!

well the apple seems to have gone well, so woo. might try a yoghurt soon. ha. live dangerously!! i seem to be having a very hungry morning this morning. maybe baby is doing some growing as she's much quieter today :)

Can you still get gripe water? I remember that with our kids.

That rings a bell in my head Jim - I'm sure that was the product around when mine were little - I'm pretty sure it's made with dill x

i don't know, but i've never heard it mentioned... although i remember people giving it to babies when i was younger?

Our pair were given it to soothe them and something you rubbed on the gums when they were teething, can't remember the name but it knocked them out ;)
